It was May 11th. Before that, on May 10, we were at an institution across the intersection (whoever was in Yerevan will understand), there are only the best impressions. What's here:
1. The interior is cool, there are a lot of locations for photos. All interior inscriptions in the restaurant are in Russian
2. The location of the table - we sat along the wall, under the slogans from the movie, we liked it.
3. The menu is a beautiful picture, the name in Armenian and English, the price, and that's it. The weight is missing, the composition of the dish is missing.
3. Food - we ordered one kebab, beef tolma (it turned out to be 6 microruletiki), beef salad, basturma, kharcho, lemonade. Kharcho is ordinary, basturma is super (it is purchased, sold in any supermarket), shish kebab is hard. But the tolma turned out to be made of mutton!!! My friend almost threw up (she can't stand mutton). The waiter solemnly carried the tolma to the kitchen and brought it back with the verdict that it was excellent beef!!!
4. The service is negligent. the waiter served the dishes on the move, almost over his shoulder.
5. The price for everything was about 5,000 rubles.
The general conclusion: the concept of the restaurant was made for Russian speakers,
but now it is not a rush friendly at all. The service is boorish, deceiving customers. This applies exclusively to this institution. I wish the owner of this business fines, lawsuits and to become a taxi driver. For comparison, there is a Tavern restaurant opposite. The interior is discreet, but interesting and expensive, the service - our company of 3 people was served by 2 waiters, it was enough to look at the special person at the counter to call, the waiters flew up in 30 seconds and very smartly and neatly cleaned the plates / changed dishes in four hands, I have not seen this in Moscow! The food is delicious. The barbecue is tender from pork tenderloin, the food is amazing, salads too. Nuance: we ordered kufta, a complex meat dish, after a while the cook came and said that they started doing it but it didn't work out as it should, they can do it again but a little later, we refused) Prices are lower than in the Caucasian captive. Respect and respect. I also recommend Tumanyan shawarma on Abovyan (on the way to the cascade) and 44 lounge (good hookah, respectable local audience, respectful service. Hookah plus lemonade about 2500 rubles)

Kebabs and dolma are successful, the rest of the dishes are mediocre. But the waiters spoil everything completely. Who, if they are lucky enough to get through, look at tourists with such disdain and hidden irritation that I would not be surprised to find out that they spit in the food.
Every 20-30 minutes, music starts screeching from all the speakers at such a volume that your ears hurt and it doesn't matter that you specifically climbed into the farthest hall and you don't see the "show". If you don't want to watch, listen!
Among the advantages, a good design and not too shabby figures of the characters of the famous film.

The restaurant is for tourists, exclusively. The price tag is too high, in fact it is equal to Moscow prices. The quality of the dishes is quite average, the lamb loin was stringy and dry. The beef kebab is a little dry, the quality of the meat was saved. If we compare it with the restaurant opposite, then I make a choice in its favor - tastier, cheaper and there is no sense of an important hurrying staff.

A great atmospheric restaurant with an amazing themed design. It is located in the basement, but it does not bother. Excellent service , good cuisine (but not impressed), the price tag is above the average in Yerevan. There are many locals, the place is popular, it is better to book in advance. We came without reservation, waited for 15 minutes.

Perhaps one of the most colorful restaurants in the city center! I really liked how well and sincerely the creators of this wonderful institution approached the matter. It was like visiting a museum. The food is delicious, the portions are large, the waiters are customer-oriented, they know their job. Relatively inexpensive for such a place. If you come here, it is better to book in advance. The restaurant is permeated with the atmosphere of Gaidai's well-known comedies, from the interior to the music, from the menu design to quotes from films on the walls.
It is worth coming here with a large company of meat lovers and ordering huge sets "on the table".
The service was always pleasant, but not always fast. Sometimes the waiter has to be called several times.

It is a very atmospheric and colorful place, we got there by accident, passing through, but now the whole company remembers and wants to return there. Firstly, the interior is childhood memories, every detail makes you smile and of course the food. We didn't read the whole menu, it's just huge, a professional waiter helped us and it was all very tasty and with an interesting presentation. In general, this is a place where you definitely need to visit!

I would like to express my deep gratitude to Oksana Kucherenko for her help in preparing a surprise for my friend, who celebrated her birthday at the Caucasian Captive restaurant..The surprise was all the way from Kakheti, Georgia...It's worth a lot! So much attention and kindness are rare nowadays...Well, everything about the kitchen and the atmosphere speaks for itself. I'm thrilled that I was able to please my girlfriend for 2,100 km!

A cool restaurant with a great interior. Large menu. We ordered assorted pork kebabs, brought a meter-long tray with different types of kebabs, kebabs and vegetables. It was enough for a company of 5 people.

It's a shame how much this previously legendary place has deteriorated.
Full landing. Cool surroundings (a little dusty, but still cute).
But food is a failure.
Ordered:
Mushroom soup - there is no taste of Mushrooms at all.
Kharcho- sour + very tough meat.
Eggplant under suluguni floats in fat, there is no salt at all, it is not fried.
Shish kebab lamb flesh - small overcooked hard 5 micro pieces.
Shish kebab pork neck - dry! I don't know how they did it.
Kebab veal pulp - sole without taste.
Which is OK, but not so much to admire (only this was finished, the rest was left):
Khachapuri in Adjarian - a little strange bland taste, but interesting.
Chicken kebab - decent, juicy.
Khinkali pork/ beef is a bit spicy and juicy. Despite the fact that there are only 10 folds, I put a plus sign.
In general, I recommend not to go. :(

A very pleasant, familiar interior from your favorite movie! Pretty fast service. Polite waiters. There are many dishes of national cuisine. Delicious kebabs, grilled pita bread, baked vegetables! The price of fruit and herbal teas is somewhat surprising, they are often more expensive than meat dishes! We only noticed it later! But everything was delicious, fast and comfortable!
