On July 17, 2024, we were in Brest, decided to visit a place with national cuisine, Yandex navigator suggested the restaurant Kaza. A colorful and pleasant place, polite staff. The menu is quite diverse, we ordered pancakes with a sponge, a cold brew on kefir, baked ribs with a side dish and a plate with pickles. On September 20, 2024, we arrived in Brest in the evening after a tour of the palaces. I decided to walk around the center and saw an unusual Kaz restaurant with national cuisine. Of course, there were no seats on Friday evening, but the bartender kindly offered a place at the bar. And I didn't regret it for a second. Unfortunately, I did not remember the name, but the bartender told me everything in detail and what he offered turned out to be incredibly delicious - both a crambambula, and a salad with meat, and of course, pancakes with machanka. To top it all off, there is also live music, an excellent selection of songs and a luxurious soloist. In general, the evening of national cuisine was a success. There was a situation when over-salted meatballs were brought, I asked the waiter if it was necessary. They apologized to me and removed this name from the receipt. As a result, we waited for about an hour, besides, my salad came last. The waitress forgot about the bread basket immediately after ordering. When I reminded her about it, she pretended that she would now check in the kitchen about readiness. After 5 minutes, I brought a badly cut store-bought gray bread with a piece of butter from the freezer 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ It was like a basket of homemade bread with craft butter in a national restaurant on a pedestrian street. Does beetroot not marinate in vinegar? How much did you put it in there? The food in the canteens is much tastier. It was already the 3rd institution in Belarus, where they do not know how to cook a refrigerator (((( Hire chefs from the dining room, so. Or Hire a grandmother, it will taste better.
