The welcome dinner at the Karvansaray restaurant was designed to introduce Moscow guests to the peculiarities of the national Azerbaijani cuisine and culture, and this program was 100% completed at maximum. Bright, colorful, original, entourage. We not only ate abundantly and deliciously, paying tribute to kutabs, meat, dolma, pilaf, seasonal fruits, fresh herbs and vegetables, but also became spectators of a special show program with a performance by a group of musicians on folk instruments, with an incendiary belly dance and a fakir swallowing fire and walking barefoot on sharp sabers. Fragrant hookahs were good, even non-smoking ladies could not resist the temptation to try them. The service was on a high level: the waiters managed to quickly and accurately serve 50+ guests of our group at large tables in the courtyard, plus several more local families housed in niches. And then we had a hearty late dinner on Primorsky Boulevard. The evening of acquaintance with Baku was a success. And the first impression of the city thanks to the Caravanserai was very favorable
