Khinkali Collection left an extremely poor impression. The service began with complete indifference. No one greeted us at the entrance, and the waiters behaved coldly and with obvious disdain, as if the guests owed them something. The ojakhuri was dry, tough, and literally drowning in oil, with a whole layer of it sitting at the bottom. The potatoes were falling apart. The tomato and cucumber salad was made with bland, tasteless vegetables. The khachapuri spread out, even though we had specifically asked in advance for it to be baked properly, knowing this was a common issue. The khinkali were average overall, but some were served with pink and partially raw meat filling, which is no longer a matter of taste but of safety. There was no clear response to our complaints about the quality of the food. In essence, they made it clear that this was the guests’ problem. They packed the food to go, and that was the end of it. During our trip, we visited around 10 places in Georgia, and this was the only one where we encountered such poor food quality, service, and attitude. No hospitality, no respect for the guest, and no decent cuisine.

In the process of exploring Tbilisi on foot, we went to this restaurant near Freedom Square. Initially, because there is an unrealistic assortment of khinkali for every taste (especially since our eldest daughter does not eat meat, but she wants khinkali)) and the acquaintance with Khinkali collection began precisely with khinkali.. As a result, khinkali with mushrooms became a revelation for me personally and the top of the list of khinkali in this institution. After that, we walked around Tbilisi for a couple more days, visiting various establishments.... And as a result, Khinkali collection became our top). The result of four visits on different days is very tasty, the cuisine level is definitely 5, fast serving, everything is delicious, ojahuri with beef melts in your mouth, the roast is smooth, the meat is perfectly steamed, khinkali is juicy (I saw reviews about dryness with salmon, but they need to be eaten with sauce), broth in moderation. But personally, my top here is kubdari, it's just amazing (we tried it in two more restaurants, definitely in HC top), and everyone was blown away by ice cream doughnuts, the unanimous verdict of our company is a dump of the head))), roughly but accurately))). I would like to mention the excellent service, the guys and girls of the officers are great fellows, polite, correct, they know the menu perfectly, they take the order correctly, there have never been any mistakes, there have never been any delays in the dishes. Special thanks to the charming girl who taught us how to eat khachapuri in Adjarian style, just bravo. As a result, we can definitely say that Khinkali collection is a place where you can safely go without doubting the quality of service and the taste of dishes. Yes, the average check per person with dessert is about 50 lari, but this is straight from the heart. P.S. We strongly recommend dishes like Cerasi or ojahuri salad to take one for two, the portions are huge and if you want to try several dishes at the moment without risking that you would break, then this life hack is for you)). The atmosphere is not flashy, without unnecessary tinsel, cozy, clean, a kind of Georgian minimalism with a touch of local flavor. In general, comparing with the establishments in Moscow, where we came from, HC is in no way inferior to its peers, definitely a solid top five, keep it up👍👏💪
