It was overpriced for sure and the food wasn't delicious. The shsia was okay, but also way too expensive and in general just feels like a tourist rip off. The only good thing is that the waiters were very friendly and nice.

We found this place based on a tip on the Internet. It looked like an ordinary restaurant, an ordinary wooden door. We had lunch outside on comfortable oriental cushions, sooo tasty and cheap, by Russian standards. And then the hostess, who was right there, took us inside the restaurant and we got into a magical fairy tale!!! There's a magic box outside the door! Stylish, beautiful designer interior, sterile cleanliness, a toilet fragrant with expensive perfume....You can still write a lot about food, serving, and treating guests!!! We were lucky enough to run into the hostess of this establishment twice a day, and the most vivid impression of Khiva is Karamat Kadyrovna! She is 75 years old. The smartest, kindest, most positive, literate, erudite, up-to-date woman! She has a bright head, a man's business acumen and a huge loving heart! Health to her and prosperity to her offspring!!! Very tasty, beautiful and sincere. We recommend it wholeheartedly!

Incredibly delicious and hospitable family restaurant! There will be everything for the guests: delicious food, a homely atmosphere, interesting communication, hookah, fast delivery and excellent service! Ask the hostess about a tour of Khiva, their family is incredibly educated and savvy! Thank you so much to the whole family for your hard work! The best restaurant in Khiva! The owners of the restaurant are very friendly, as well as all the staff. The patio is cozy and spacious enough. The food is all great, 5 plus! My husband does not eat carp, but here it was cooked so deliciously that he ate it with me with great appetite. I definitely recommend it. And special thanks for letting us in with the dogs!

When choosing a place to have lunch, we were guided by the rating on Yandex maps.
The rating is definitely biased.
I liked the interior, it looks good compared to other establishments.The quality of the dishes was not impressive, edible, but not "Wow". The target audience is tourists, the locals obviously don't eat here. If you want to eat delicious food, then look for places where locals go, let them be simpler, but they will definitely give you better food.

We didn't like the restaurant. The advantage was that it is within walking distance, and there were free places at lunch. The food was good, although our order was all mixed up, and as a result, we refused another part because we carried it for too long, and as it turned out, we forgot part of the food in the kitchen.. In general, we lost an hour and a half. But some of the dishes were of very excellent quality. The green noodles in some salad were just amazing. But I still put a deservedly 3*. Maybe it's worth visiting them, of course, and you don't need to put a cross on the restaurant right away because of this misunderstanding. But read the reviews and if someone else has written about this, then it's better not to waste time

A wonderful place of peace. We had dinner here - the hosts took into account all the food wishes (even exotic ones :)), arranged a musical performance with live music and dancing, the food was all delicious and not expensive, and the meal itself took place on an atmospheric couch 👍

Perhaps this is the best of the Khiva restaurants we have visited.
The restaurant is located three hundred meters from the western gate of Ichan-Kala. A spacious, atmospherically decorated courtyard with sofas and tables. The menu is varied. There are fish dishes. It is made from fish that swims right there in the courtyard in the pool. The staff is impeccably friendly, polite and responsive to the wishes of the guests. The prices, compared to the restaurants inside Ichan-Kala, are humane.
I liked everything we took.

A pleasant atmosphere, especially the courtyard with slippers! Very tasty fish and baked chebureks. And the local draft beer was super!!! Polite staff, especially very competent waiters. They still have a hookah, but you may not see them on the menu, so ask the waiter. It is better to book tapchans or tables in advance, as the place is very popular. Prices are cheaper than inside the fortress. I advise everyone.

My wife and I really liked the cool restaurant, delicious food, salads and natural juices are Pakistani, reasonable prices are almost 2 times lower than in restaurants inside Ichan-kala, although it is located 500 meters from the walls of the fortress, separate plus the staff is polite and courteous, 15 times in the evening we found out what else is needed and whether everything is I'm fine.

This restaurant is much better than those inside the fortress. Both in terms of cuisine, choice and price. An extensive menu, what is not there! A great courtyard with slippers and tables, shade and comfort. Chebureks and fish are great. But it's not only delicious, we've been there twice and everything was delicious!) One of the most delicious places in Khiva! The summer porch is gorgeous. The service is top-notch, the host came out at the end of the dinner, asked if he liked everything and joked with us. It's nice! We took the national green noodles, manti, shish kebab, samsa and achukchuk. Delicious! But, of course, there are not enough layers for samsa. But! It didn't spoil the experience. The price tag is good. I heartily recommend this place!

A very nice place! Delicious local food, a lot of interesting things on the menu. The waiters speak Russian and English well. There are places both in the yard and indoors.
A little unexpected location right in the middle of an ordinary residential area, but it's even more interesting this way.

Excellent quality return of dishes, an adequate price tag, very friendly staff, waitress girls all speak Russian well, honestly and in detail advise on dishes, recommend. There is alcohol, which is an important plus for us, tourists, because most of the establishments are Halal.
We had breakfast, lunch and dinner only with them.
There is a toilet, not for money and not a hole in the floor! This is also very rare in this country.

I'll just say one thing. With the excellent quality of all the dishes ordered and tasted by us, special recognition to the chef for the excellent preparation of carp. It is believed that this is a signature local (geographically) dish. Now I would consider it a specialty of this restaurant as well. It's just amazing!!! P. s. By the way, the beer here is not of the worst quality.

We went on the advice of the guide to try a local specialty - carp. They took the baked one. The taste is simply divine. A portion for two. Plus, we took one salad with baked eggplant for two, which is also delicious. We just couldn't fit in any more.
The next evening they came again and did not regret it. The mutton kebab was beyond praise, despite the fact that I am not a fan of mutton.
We had dinner both times outdoors. There are tables with chairs and sofas for those who want a local flavor. The bill both times is about 1000 rubles per person.

We were here at lunch. The view inside is like in a dining room, while we carry the name of the restaurant in the city and the prices are very high.
With the promised serving time of 30 minutes, I waited for my soup only an hour later! The soup with meatballs was very salty and the price for it was 2 times higher than in other places. 60 thousand for such a soup, are you serious? The staff runs around the hall sometimes with empty trays, as if they create the appearance of work. And for all this "splendor" there is also a 15% service fee. It was the worst place in all of Uzbekistan!

The restaurant is an oasis for the soul! Delicious at home, but with a restaurant serving.
The service is attentive, friendly communication. Clear menu and price tags.
The portions are pretty decent to have a satisfying meal. Pilaf is delicious. Shurpa and mastava are delicious! Samsa and Gumma are very juicy - 4 pieces per serving.
Local beer is delicious! Tea in any kettle, on request)

Otherwise:
Mojito lemonade is strawberry without strawberries, it seems just bottled in a decanter with mint and lemon ice.
The soups are good.
The wine is just local.
Chebureks are delicious.
The dumplings are cold.
We couldn't eat shish kebab, there is no taste of meat, obviously we overexposed it in the marinade a lot.
There is a hookah and it is also not bad.

The pilaf is delicious, but not wow. A little dry..This is subjective in my opinion.
They took green and black tea. Black is better))
I liked samsa, chebureks and lamb kebab. Very tasty!
The service fee for the service is from 10 to 15%. If you're lucky, but it's better to clarify before ordering.
The toilets are normal. They are cleaned and it is clean.
For Uzbekistan as a whole, the level is decent, so I recommend visiting.
