Hello everyone My wife and I were in Batu Kaves today, it's good that my wife and I arrived on our own and without an excursion. It wasn't exactly easy to get there, as they say in the reviews… In general, we were disappointed that there is no information that repairs are underway, unless of course you are eating for enlightenment, I think this is not the most important thing for you friends, we were looking for beautiful Instagram views and monkeys. We managed to take a photo only of the cave and monkeys, but the statue was covered with forests. Please note that everything is being repaired on 11/12/25 I think we can go to more interesting places in KL for a check.

It's very dirty and there are crowds of people. This is only possible on a public holiday. From the train there is a path through the market, strewn with garbage. Very loud music from the speaker. When they reached the stairs, they decided not to even go up. I do not recommend visiting this place on a public holiday.

An interesting place, a must visit! The caves are very close to the station, just 5-7 minutes on foot. The most distinctive feature is the 272 multi-colored steps. But they pass easily, in one go. There are beautiful views of natural caves and temples inside! There are souvenir shops nearby. There are a couple of shops with snacks and drinks downstairs. Be careful - there are a lot of monkeys everywhere. They are so arrogant that they snatch drinks, ice cream, etc. out of their hands. If you don't want to be left without valuables, hide them away. Try to find out in advance the timetable of the commuter train (metro, trains) to the Batu caves station, because it runs once an hour. I didn't even have time to sit at the station for an hour, waiting for the next one. If you are traveling with transfers, and not using a direct metro line, then purchase a ticket only by card!
