I really enjoyed the Golden Ring of Abkhazia tour! It was a busy and wonderful day. Gagra and its famous Colonnade have certainly become one of the main gems of the route. A very beautiful, ceremonial place with a special resort atmosphere! I took a lot of photos there as a keepsake. The result is great footage that will now remind you of this trip.

Gagra Colonnade, one of the most popular attractions, located in the center of Old Gagra. A snow-white beauty with a length of more than 60 meters. The four towers are connected by arcades, each of which consists of 8 arches. The opening took place in January 1956. The colonnade has 45 columns, symbolizing the year of the end of the war, the victory over fascism. A great photo zone for those who like to take pictures. It's always crowded here, with lots of guided tours. In the evening, the backlight turns on, which creates an even more romantic mood. The film Winter Evening in Gagra, which was filmed here, brought additional fame to this place. There is a beautiful and clean fountain in the center of the square. In the center of the fountain is a sculpture of a white dove, symbolizing peace. Next to the square where the colonnade is located, there is a Seaside park, a beautiful embankment, the famous old Gagripsh restaurant, and an old, rather dilapidated cinema. There are many cafes, and there is a train for children. A beautiful place for walking.

One of the easily recognizable symbols of the city, the Gagra Colonnade is an architectural structure in the Moorish style, an object of historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Abkhazia. The colonnade is located in the central part of the Old Gagra neighborhood, on the main street of Gagra, Ardzinba Avenue, in proximity to the sea and the city beach. The Seaside Park is located nearby. It was the first stop in Abkhazia after customs. 28.10.2025. The fountain was working, the columns were illuminated, and the area was clean.
