If you are in Arabkir district in Yerevan,Armenia and don't want to go to city center and seek for a good restaurent nearby, KOOZH is one of the best ones in Komitas street.

This restaurant has left the most pleasant impressions. The cozy atmosphere and pleasant music created a wonderful backdrop for dinner. The dishes were prepared with great love and were distinguished by their exquisite taste. The courteous staff made our evening even more comfortable. We will definitely come back here again.

I couldn't find anything delicious for myself all week, a lot of dishes are salty for me, on the last day we decided to visit a restaurant near my place of residence and lo and behold! First of all, it was a beautiful serve, and not all shots were well-pitched. Secondly, it's delicious. Eggplant is incomparable, khurgin is a delicious lavash. The meat is too salty for me, but it's the norm for them. Zajik is an unusual combination, dessert. In general, I have already come to terms with the fact that local food does not come to me, but this place left at least some positive impression for me during my days in Yerevan.

An establishment with a claim to fashionable style, but I didn't particularly like the food, it was normal, but nothing more. It seemed a bit expensive in terms of quality. The service was "unobtrusive", they were in no hurry to serve, they had to call over, although there were few customers.

It was always a good place, taking into account the location and the price-quality ratio.
The service has always been lame. The last straw was that the food in which the long hair was found was not excluded from the bill with the comment "well, we've redone the dish, what's the problem?".
I didn't make a fuss, assuming that the manager would come up and resolve the incident, but as it turned out, in vain.

@koozh_fusioncuisine - on Komitas, a neighboring place from the "Oriental Cuisine", but there is a gap between them (metaphorical).
Honestly, I didn't dare to try how well the local chef manages fusion. I will leave pasta, pad thai and pho bo for the next few times, but for now only traditional Armenian dishes. Well, here's a Greek salad. It is on every menu in Yerevan, so it is traditional.
I'll tell you, it turned out to be the best Greek salad eaten in Yerevan, and I was very skeptical about previous experiences. The cheese was put in one piece, as is customary THERE, olives and olives, although not the most premium, but entirely, everything was chopped neatly, without large variations in size. There is nothing superfluous in the dressing, no vinegar notes. How to make it perfect at all? Put the cucumber on 50 grams less.
Dolma is not very large, but juicy, with a good proportion of meat in minced meat, served with dense, fatty matsun.
The ribs are slightly, SLIGHTLY worse than in the "Cheese Factory", some effort is needed to separate the meat, but compared to the average Yerevan ribs, this is an excellent dish.
Lahmajo is a dish here, as if not for company, four mini-tortillas, neat, do not break, do not crumble, do not lose minced meat.
Pork meat kebab is a little lean, of course, tea, not from the neck, but still not cooked to death, quite juicy meat.
They're cleaning up here. Dirty ones. Plates. Immediately. Yes, it sounds like nonsense, but almost everywhere in Yerevan, no one would even think of removing it before serving the next dish. And the devices are being changed here! And they ask if they liked everything!
I'm in positive shock. This place beats many restaurants in the center for price/quality and service.

We had lunch here today with my husband. It's a delight! A pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive beautiful music, very polite and courteous waiters, and the food is just above all praise. If I could put 100 here instead of five, I would do it. Now Kuzh is one of my favorite places in Yerevan.

Phobo soup is not even remotely similar to the original, it is absolutely wrong.
Grilled meat dried or warmed yesterday.
Salad with prosciutto and avocado is generously filled with wine vinegar.
The curry soup is excellent and the bread is normal.
The atmosphere, location, and interior are excellent.
