The Church of the Holy Trinity. The city is Deep. Belarus. 🍂⛪🍂✝🍂⛪🍂 The church is located on the 17th of September Square opposite the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was built in 1628 by order of Jozef Korsak, Mstislav voivode. A little earlier, Korsak founded a local Catholic parish. In the XVII century, the church was built of wood. After the first reconstruction, the building was an expressionless structure with two low towers. Information has been preserved that the temple had three altars and an underground crypt, later the monks built a hospital at the church, laid out a garden and planted a vegetable garden. The size of the Trinity Church was not striking, but it coped well with the functions of a medieval temple and was quite prosperous. This is evidenced by a document stating that in 1851 the church owned the Dmitrievshchina folwark with 149 souls. In the 1870s, the Carmelite monastery, located on the other side of the central square in Glubokoe, was handed over to the Orthodox and turned into the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin (it has been preserved and operates to this day). The question arose about the transfer of icons and altars, as well as holding services for parishioners: there was a need to expand the church of the Holy Trinity. It was from this moment that the Trinity Church in Glubokoe began to play a central role in the life of the local Catholic community. Work on the reconstruction and enlargement of the temple was carried out in 1902-1908. The main idea of the architect was to completely preserve the facade of the XVII century, and to style the rest of it according to the fashionable direction of the "Vilna Baroque" at that time. This is how the building acquired unusual features for the architecture of Belarus. The towers grew by 2 levels at once, which visually stretched the entire structure upwards and gave a visual volume to the church. Side extensions also appeared: the temple became three-nave. It was also possible to preserve the rich decor of the main facade of the church: these are elegant layered pilasters, high arches, the sculpture "Crucifixion" in the arch and the thin lines of the cornices. Three carved wooden altars were installed inside the temple, the central one depicted the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. The second tier houses a unique religious landmark of the early XVII century – the icon "Mother of God Hodegetria". The altar is completed by a beautiful composition called "Gloria with angels". This is an impressive three-tiered work of art. In the church you can also see an unusual altar with three icons: "Mother of God's Tenderness", "Joseph with a child" (early XVII century), "Holy Family" (1730s). 🎶 Choirs with a large organ, made in the style of Neo-Gothic, are located directly above the entrance to the church. A shrine is kept in the church – the icon of the Mother of God Shkaplernaya.

A beautiful old church. It is located almost in the center of the city. One of the disadvantages is the lack of private parking. Electric bells sound beautifully.

A very beautiful temple, magnificent architecture. You definitely need to go inside and evaluate the interior of the church.
