In Smorgon there is a monument of Renaissance architecture – the Church of St. Michael the Archangel. The construction of the stone Calvinist church began approximately in 1606-1612. Its founder was Krystof Zenovich. In shape, the temple is an octagon, slightly elongated. The main hall is crowned by a vaulted dome decorated with frescoes. The most beautiful and ancient church of Archangel Michael, reborn in 1991, the former Uniate Cathedral... It is an ornament and a business card of the city of Smorgon. It is located in the very center of the city, next to the central square.
