This was a fine quick stop for a short refreshing smoothie while hanging out in Vitebsk. Unfortunately, the rum smoothie we wanted was not available, so had gluhwein instead, which was just fine tasting and warming.

The cafe is cool. Nice interior, cozy. No matter how many times I've been there, it's always a clean bathroom. The waiters are friendly and nimble. The menu is not very diverse, but all the items are worthy of respect. Delicious, beautiful serving of the dish. It looks like they have great habits. Serving grams are on the menu. Prices are probably higher than the average in Vitebsk, they are closer to Minsk prices. But it's not a pity to give this money for such a service. I wish the cuckoo continued prosperity. I recommend visiting this cafe. One of the disadvantages is parking. The cafe is located in the center. And you probably won't find a place on Lenin Street. The only thing that saves is parking near the temple. If you're driving, keep this in mind.

Upon arrival in Belarus, we were looking for a decent place to have breakfast. Based on the rating and proximity of where we were, we chose a Cuckoo. The name is incomprehensible and funny. A quiet, pleasant place. The menu is small, I would like to have a bigger selection of national Belarusian dishes. We ordered two Scandinavian breakfasts, cheesecakes, a warming November drink (I don't remember the exact name), shingles (I don't remember what), of course cappuccino and some very tasty and beautiful drink with cornflowers. There is nothing to complain about the quality and design of all these dishes, everything is wow. Yes, the cost is high, but the quality and the pleasure are worth it. It's unusual to listen to fables on the record in the bathroom, as if you're going back to school. I was confused by the way we were escorted. We paid at the table, put on our jackets and headed for the exit. There were almost no customers in the establishment. Passing by the bartender, we said goodbye, and he gave us an indifferent look. Yes, he answered us goodbye, but somehow without a soul, without a smile on his face, as if there was nothing more to charge you and get out of here. That's why I removed one star.

Prices are above average in Vitebsk, but this is one of the best places in the city, so it's understandable.

The name attracted me. It was interesting to find out what will please you in Kukukha :) The interior is very pleasant. There is not much space in the hall, but the tables are set up correctly, no one interferes. The menu is quite diverse - you can find a dish for every taste. Everything was very tasty and pleasant, the table was served very nicely. The food was prepared quickly enough and the waiters worked at the highest level. A good place to relax and have a delicious meal. I recommend you to visit!

Problems arose only with pizza, when it was served stuck to paper and it was impossible to eat pizza. To this remark, the waiter replied only "Well, yes, now we have such a paper." This moment spoiled the overall impression of the place, so only 4 stars...

It looks like a very cozy and pleasant place, very tasty food and good cocktails, the only thing that confused the food and drinks in terms of quality was coffee, which looked more like a 3-in-1 brew due to superheated milk.
The biggest complaint from me, as a person who worked as a waiter, is to the service. After we finished, the dirty dishes were on our table for another hour, and when the waitress finally remembered about our table, bringing two desserts out of three, one of the dirty plates remained standing right in the middle of the table. We still did not see the third dessert after 40 minutes of waiting, and in the end we were forced to simply abandon it.
During this time, the waiter didn't even look in to check if everything was in order, and if we hadn't called her on our own, we wouldn't have known how much more time we would have wasted. When we called the waiter to our place, she talked casually with the receptionist. The receptionist, in turn, apologized, but explained the waiter's long absence by the high workload and the fact that the waiter was "running" around the establishment with a lot of things to do.
I could get into a position where it's really easy to forget to check the table, especially when it's not in constant view (as was the case in our case), but how you can forget about the dessert knocked out in the tray and keeper is unclear to me.
The receptionist offered a discount as an apology, for which, of course, thank you, but the mocking, arrogant tone with which she reacted to our complaint was, to put it mildly, disrespectful. And the way the waiter asked us to read the complaint we left without even waiting for us to leave the restaurant, too).
I hope that at least the director will react properly to this and that our experience is an exception to the rule, and not something that happens all the time.

It is a very cozy and atmospheric place. Polite staff, we were passing through in winter, so I can mention hot drinks separately.
The four is subjective from myself, because of all the Volumes that I have not tried anywhere, it was not edible in sharpness here.

It was an interesting place, and the menu was delicious. But yesterday, 02/10/2025, I was visiting and ordered a dish of "Potatoes with nuggets". The dish was slightly warm. It feels like it's been slightly buried in the microwave. The serving is strange in a bowl, and potatoes and nuggets were placed on parchment paper, and the sauce was poured over the top and behind the paper, so part of the sauce ended up on the bowl, part on paper. To taste the sauce, I had to turn off the paper and smear the sauce there.
Going to this place left a sad impression. I did not complain to the staff, as I believe that the director of this cafe should control this and prevent such situations. The staff only performs their duties, and the director controls them well or poorly.

The children liked the cheesecake with white chocolate. The coffee is excellent - 100% Arabica.
Ice latte drink with raspberries is very tasty.

We visited the restaurant for dinner. We ordered Thai fried rice, but the impressions were extremely contradictory.
The portion is really large, but this is probably the only plus. The dish turned out to be over-salted due to too much soy sauce, with a taste of yesterday's chicken. The pungency stated in the menu was not felt at all — instead, the dish turned out to be too greasy due to the abundance of oil. There was nothing in the recipe that resembled real Thai rice. Rather, it was a food court-level version of the “wok.”
A separate point is that arugula was added instead of the declared cilantro, and they did not even warn. For a price of 25 rubles, this is clearly unjustified.
The most unpleasant thing began 10 minutes after dinner — both my wife and I had a feeling of nausea and vomiting.
However, to be fair, I would like to note the pleasant atmosphere of the establishment and the courtesy of the staff. But, alas, this does not compensate for the quality of the dishes.

Food - the choice is small, which is most often a plus, but not in this case. I took mashed vegetable soup - the taste is only from pepper, and fajita is the same story, just a very spicy tasteless dish, rice in which, as if from the bottom of the package, leftovers.
The most unpleasant thing was that the almost untouched dish was returned to the kitchen - no one even reacted.

A cool interior place. I DON'T KNOW about the kitchen - we ran in to sit down so that our legs would rest and drink tea. The tea is delicious, the dishes are beautiful, the sofas and chairs are comfortable (the back and legs were grateful)
I recommend the place to visit while walking for the Soul - it's the most!
