From 1984 to 1986, she traveled annually to Kiev in order to enjoy this miracle-Shishkin, Vasnetsov and opposite the stream a marble statue of a monk above a book. So many years have passed, but the impression of absolute delight does not leave. If I'm alive, I'll just come back and bow..

I visited it twice in 2011, when it was the Ilya Yefimovich Repin Museum of Russian Art. I was impressed by the paintings of Ivan Shishkin, Vasily Vereshchagin and, of course, the canvas by Viktor Vasnetsov, painted by him for the opening of the Donetsk railway.

A very good museum about Russian painting of the 14th and 20th centuries. The hall with the works of Ivan Shishkin is generally one of the best in the post-Soviet space and not the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg in terms of the number of works. Unfortunately, there are only three works by Aivazovsky in the permanent exhibition. A very interesting room with Vrubel graphics. In general, I highly recommend it to all lovers of painting!
