After staying at the Shah Hotel, I went to a restaurant for dinner. I really liked the hospitality of the staff. Maxim helped me with the choice of dishes. We had a nice chat about my impressions of the cuisine, as I love the dishes of the Ottoman Empire. And it's very interesting to compare it with what you eat when you come to Turkey, Georgia, Armenia or Greece.
Shah pilaf, although it is claimed for several people, I have tempered it to myself alone. Its cost is 40 manats. By the way, keep in mind that it takes 1.5 hours to cook.
I ate kutab and salad and went for a walk through the streets. The administrator wrote me a message about the readiness of the dish. And it's very valuable.
A good place, you will heartily advise everyone to visit. Me, so bold.

I really liked the restaurant!
Beautiful interior, cozy terrace, live music, great food service.
We ordered a lot of things, everything was delicious. The only thing Saj was not impressed by the size (well, maybe we are such prozhers).
I remember the Crispy eggplant salad the most. I thought it was some kind of standard recipe/technology for Baku, but unfortunately, in other restaurants where we were after that, they were not cooked so tasty.
I want to come back just for him)

Always perfect service and delicious food!
On this trip to Baku, we were here on Saturday evening, we booked in advance, because there are always a lot of people.
We took a barbecue salad - 10/10, gutabs (greens, cheese, pumpkin) - 10/10 (thin, crispy, perfect), potatoes with a curd - 9/10 (slightly uncooked), dolma - 10/10 (juicy, the softest leaves), hingala leaves - 10/10 (it's just a dump of the head), khan kebab 10/10 (always great!), persimmon with lamb - 8/10 (the meat is a little harsh, the dish is heavy and with a very pronounced sourness from the pomegranate, for an amateur).
A bottle of pomegranate wine and a jug of feijoa compote.
The total amount was 5900rubles for two people.
In my opinion, it's perfect.

The food here is simply wonderful!
Excellent pilaf, tea, pastries. The food was simply wonderful, and the location was beyond praise.
But the only negative was that the waiter who served us spoke only Azerbaijani, and our conversation in a mixture of Russian and English was very comical, which, in other ways, was not a hindrance.

We are guests of Baku and stopped by this place for the evening to have dinner! I liked the atmosphere, it was noisy, the music was playing all evening, but a young guy with a great voice was singing, it was nice to listen and sing along!

The place is a tourist destination. The kitchen is decent, the service is good too. It's better to visit with a group, well, not alone. I went in on Friday at 17 o'clock without reservation - I sat down without any problems. In the late afternoon, there were more guests, most likely, you need to book for dinner. The visitors are mostly local, which inspires confidence in the institution. The menu is in Russian via a QR code (there is WiFi). I ordered kutabs with herbs, salad with crispy eggplant and lamb beef with chestnuts and pomegranate. It was cooked very quickly, I hardly waited. This is the most delicious thing I've eaten in Baku all my vacation! Kutabs are ordinary, and lettuce and govurma are beyond praise. The portions are decent, I couldn't finish eating, I took about a third with me. Dinner for one (food + beer) came out at 36.30 manats, in my opinion, quite adequately. I will definitely return here on my next visit to Baku. Thanks!

Great restaurant! We went to dinner with the children, delicious food. You can order almost everything piece by piece. Beautiful view of the old town from the window. The waiter was very competent, helped to make the order correctly. Of the cons: the musical accompaniment was not constant, and when it was turned on it was too loud. The men's toilet is very dirty, one of the worst I have seen in Baku, and there is only one toilet for such a crowd of people.

I found a restaurant on the Internet in advance before the trip. We lived in a coastal hotel and specially came to the restaurant by taxi 2 times. It is very cozy, original and sooooo delicious (especially chicken kebab with chicken and mashed potatoes with chicken, grilled potatoes with salt, and much more). The price is above average. The reviews of this restaurant are clearly inflated. Two stars only for the location and a nice terrace. Everything else is just terrible from the meeting to the waiters who go and serve with such sour faces that it's scary to turn once again. The food is disgusting out of 4 dishes, chicken soup was the most edible. Bulgur salad with pomegranate sauce is such sourness, the vegetables declared in it are not even visible, the chicken dish I don't remember the name, they brought 4 bones, two parts of the wing, a shank and something else from the breast area, from the point of view of meat it wasn't there, well, eggplant salad is a substance from a jar bought in a store. We were left hungry.

We were in this restaurant on 04.05 - we came purely according to the reviews below. There is no service, you can't wait for a waiter. We waited for the soup for 50 minutes. The meat was more than an hour old , it was already slightly warm. The administrator is still trying to solve some issues, but even with this in mind, I will never recommend this place to visit.

This institution was chosen by me from Yekaterinburg for the New Year's Eve. Vetsap solved all the issues with booking and payment. After there were problems with the departure (the vaccination certificate was not read) and with the hotel (the island booked a room of a different category), we were already ready for everything. But La Guza just made our new year. A great family restaurant, with excellent cuisine and a great attitude of the whole team. And the New Year itself went great, and then during their stay they had dinner here several more times. All the staff works for 5, special thanks to Gumbatov Turgut - a person really lives by work, is always in the hall and ready to help guests. Thank you for your work. I hope that I will be in Baku again - I will definitely come to you.

I completely agree with the opinion about the hyped reviews. No one meets, the order is not recorded, "remembered". With an empty restaurant, you can't call a waiter.The attitude is dismissive to put it mildly! As a result, they left me without food. Forgot, no apologies. But they did not forget to include in the receipt a dish that did not bring bread either! What was brought to my husband and son was not delicious! They left hungry.
