We stayed at this hotel in June 2024. Of the advantages: THE BEACH!!! The beach is cool, white sand, the entry into the water is smooth, the water is clean (the ocean is a separate story!!!). There are plenty of sun beds on the beach. From a nearby hotel (5*), vacationers came to our beach, saying that our beach is better!!! There are two bars on the beach, and pina colada is great in the far bar!!! And the lobby bar has a great daiquiri!!! Overall, I liked the hotel. We paid $50 extra for a room with an ocean view and didn't worry about it! The rooms are large, the furniture is normal, not super new, but not dead either. The problem was with the towels, they categorically do not want to change them, even if they throw them on the floor. Tips in this case also did not make the weather! Only the threat that I would complain to the Cuban Ministry of Tourism forced them to change towels daily! The food is generally good, pork, chicken every day. There were seafood: mussels, octopuses, squid, lobsters. There were a lot of mangoes from fruits!!! In restaurants, the problem is precisely the lack of spoons, for some reason there are none. Soup and ice cream have learned to eat with forks!!! Overall, I liked the hotel! I definitely recommend an excursion to the dolphinarium!!! Emotions are off the scale! Then I laughed, they say, you have to be a fool and not use a sunscreen. The sun, as it turned out, does not spare anyone: as soon as we settled in, I immediately smeared myself all over with sunscreen, but I was burned on the first day (despite the fact that during the entire vacation I never intentionally lay under the sun in order to tan). There are things that have bothered me during my vacation: lizards walk quietly everywhere, including in the room. On the 4th day, a fat, round cockroach appeared in the toilet, which embarrassed me with its presence. Towels were not changed for a week, we had to go to the reception and leave an official "please replace the towels." The staff speaks English poorly, but this does not interfere with communication. There is a buffet in the dining room, but not all the food is delicious and well cooked (there is very little meat, and if there is, then in small pieces, or immediately with a side dish; seafood is abundant, but not always well cooked; fruits are there, but they are not always of good quality, and for some reason tourists sorted out the mango in the first the same minutes after he was kicked out. Date 15.04-28.04.24 Composition: 3 people (two adults and a child of 9 years old) Airplane. We flew Nordwin, for the first time by this airline. Minuses: - We arranged luggage measurements at the check-in, which delayed the whole event. It's a sickening Victory. We didn't have any problems, but we found fault with everything from other passengers, which delayed check-in. - A battered, old plane, which raises doubts about the safety of the flight. I got the impression that he arrived in the 90s in 2024. On the way back, the cabin was falling apart: armrests, tables, armchairs. - There is no multimedia and even elementary pockets for small things. - They feed you once. - Flight attendants are not intrusive at all, all with a favor. - The buttons for calling flight attendants do not work, go yourself if you need something. - 14 hours of flight from Moscow and 13 hours back is too hard, but this is a subjective opinion. And here it should be noted, according to the stories of other tourists, that we lived like kings! Cleaning is available, but very mediocre. Towels are not changed, bed linen is not changed either. They changed it for us once, because they caught the cleaning themselves. The floors are washed every day, the plumbing is not washed. We took a rope and clothespins with us - this saved the situation with wet clothes. In general, the room is shabby, but the plumbing, safe and lock in the room worked flawlessly. - Deck chairs. The fund of rooms requires repair, not a single light bulb worked, I called electricians, after 10 minutes of repair, although it seemed that they were repairing there, the traffic jams were knocked out on the entire floor. They don't know how to make cocktails, pure alcohol is good, you can find everything. In general, this is probably the case throughout Cuba, but I couldn't quite believe it, upon arrival and returning home we stopped at McDonald's, it feels like we haven't tasted better food, homemade food also began to be perceived differently, I offered to open a restaurant in Cuba for my wife, since we visited many places there besides the hotel, but food is everywhere It was so-so. It was a cool experience, but never to Cuba again.

Very tasty bread, cheese and ice cream, but for the last 4 days there has been nothing I didn't want to eat since everything is the same every day. And don't be surprised if you see little red-haired residents in the restaurant, they occasionally appear there. The beach is good, the entrance to the sea is smooth, there are enough free sun beds. The bars are not bad, although for the first 4 days there were no cola, sprite, or fanta in the bars, only their guava and mango juice. They didn't make any cocktails, but then apparently there was a supply and they started making delicious mahito, they don't regret rum. Delicious burgers (bun and cutlet) were made in the snow bar. You fill the rest yourself. In the room for 10 days we have never had a towel changed, I am generally silent about the bed linen. Three days before departure, one towel was taken away, but a clean one was never put in. In general, they will be prepared for the fact that the rooms are not very clean, the food is monotonous, but there is a lot of rum.

There are two beaches. One is at the bar in the "forest", which looks like a bungalow. The second one is at the end of the snack bar. We went to the far beach almost every day because it seemed more picturesque and lively to us. Someone will find it too noisy, there are dances and water aerobics every day. By the way, I recommend to visit aquaerobics, a very fun event)) especially if there are a lot of people. Of the advantages, it is also worth noting the cool evening shows. The staff is trying very hard, the guys are giving their best! Dancing is in the blood of Cubans! If you are going for a relaxing holiday, you will have enough entertainment programs. By the way, there were almost no children in the hotel (perhaps it was in September). It was a plus for us. In the evenings, the piano is played at the hotel. It's impossible to tear myself away, how beautifully the pianist plays) Another advantage is the on-site store. In the store you can buy souvenirs, rum at reasonable prices, beer. There are waffles and juices for $ 4 - $ 5, but I wanted to eat- we bought and got high)) There is a second shop on the territory by the pool, where they sell cigars, hats, clothes and so on, but the mode of operation there is strange. For us, the location of the hotel seemed favorable, because it is located within walking distance from the bus stop, from which you can either catch a taxi or take a bus. - [ ] Food. It is worth writing right away that we have lost 6 kg (in 2 weeks). From what you could eat, it was grilled chicken (but it wasn't always fried. You say more heat, they understand English poorly, so no roasting, gave raw meat in fact). For a total of 13 days, our diet consisted of rice/pasta and chicken/pork. Of course, there were attempts to try other masterpieces of the cuisine of our hotel, but dishes such as fried coconut, fried cucumbers and bananas did not come in. Beef was also grilled, but they fry it to the state of the sole and it is impossible to eat it. Of the fruits there were decent pineapples, the rest of the fruits are sour. We were satisfied, the view is beautiful, although later we went to visit our friends living on the 5th floor and realized that the higher, the better the view. Yes, the room stock is not fresh, but we drove and were prepared for the worst, but for Cuba the room was good. That's what we thought when we checked in… In the remaining days, we faced such problems as cockroaches in the room, lack of hot water, creaking bed, loose sockets (we had to prop up the adapter with a book to charge the phone), electricity was constantly turned off, the handles from the drawer remained in our hands when opened. On the fourth day of our stay, our electricity went out. And it was no longer included. We immediately went to the reception, explained the problem (it was about 19 pm). They promised to send a mechanic to fix everything. But, apparently, the mechanic's working day was over, and only at the first hour of the night we were informed that we would have to move. Without any problems, we would have waited until morning, but it was impossible to sleep without air conditioning. They moved to another building also on the third floor. The room was a little different: a separate dressing room, the room itself is brighter (there are more lamps, but not all of them had light bulbs), it even seemed that it was bigger. But our disappointment in the morning turned out to be that now the view from the room opened onto the dining room, from which there was a very delicious smell of fish, and the balcony itself was, as it were, deepened, a shabby wall with mold could be seen on the left. Below - right under the balcony there was a roof, on which our neighbors threw garbage from above - habariki, cigarette packs, etc. You're standing like this on the balcony, getting high- and suddenly a bull flies to you from the sky. In this wonderful room, we consistently had problems with the lock twice a day: the door does not close, but it does not open. The cards were flashed constantly. Once we came across the fact that the room could not be closed. You go to the reception, then you expect a mechanic. Half an hour, an hour.. you go to the reception again to remind yourself. And here he is - the long-awaited mechanic! He solved our problem with the lock very simply! Says "it will continue", just hang on the door handle and it will close. It's very funny, of course, waiting for an hour for a specialist who will tell you to hang on the door handle. Cuban pros)) In the new room, we liked the bathroom, the plumbing was noticeably newer, the water was hot and it left normally. The only complaint is the bucket in the toilet. Apparently, as it was put there, it was never washed, because the smell from it left much to be desired. On the last day of our departure, the air conditioner broke down and only the ventilation worked. The mechanic walked for a long time, but still came and said that everything should work within an hour. Fortunately, it was) - [ ] The territory and the hotel itself. The territory of the hotel is large, green. Birds are singing everywhere, we even saw hummingbirds. Lizards run along the paths. The path to the sea is very pleasant. There is lighting in the dark. The gardener takes care of the territory constantly, the grass is always mowed, coconuts do not fall on the head from the palm tree) but be careful, because we saw a snake in the grass. There were problems with plumbing in the room, one day our toilet stopped flushing-))) I had to figure it out. The sockets are barely alive. The animation by the pool is good. Every evening there is a program at the hotel. Cockroaches were found in the restaurant where they always ate, fruits and vegetables are not tasty, in general, I would say "not very" with cooking. A very beautiful, large beach with white sand and blue water covered all the disadvantages of the hotel! Downstairs, after 22 hours, a bar opened where they made delicious cocktails, their favorite Pina Colada! We took an excursion to Havana, it was great... Impressed! The dining room next to the towns is not very good, there is little food and only pensioners ate there. The dining room, which is a little better in the main building, there is more choice, but the meat is fried so that it is impossible to chew (sole), the fruits are already sour, personally, 3 people were poisoned from food in our campaign, including my wife, so a liquid stool is provided from food. There are just a lot of flies in the dining room, in order to eat in peace you have to wave your arms, flies sit on the food that is on the tables. Coffee and tea are served only during breakfast. The bars were constantly running out of coke, plastic cups and beer by lunchtime. The quality of the cocktails depended on which bartender was making it. Water was brought to the room every other time and I had to go and beg for it myself. In the last two days, the hot water was turned off altogether and toilet paper was not brought. The infrastructure of the hotel itself is simple. The beach at the hotel is more or less good, without stones, the approach is gentle and not deep, the water is clean, there are a lot of sunbeds, but pensioners were constantly outraged at the loud music on the beach. The waiters themselves are friendly, and if you tip a couple of times (1 cook), they will serve you better. So we believe that this hotel does not pull in 4 stars, I put only 2 for the poet. We love Cuba very much and went there not for the first time, so we will definitely return again, but definitely not to this hotel.
