We arrived in the morning, much earlier than the check-in time, but the owner, or rather one of the owners, (this is a family hotel) welcomed us very cordially and offered us a free room, although a little lower class. We were tired and gladly agreed. The room was clean, but we didn't have enough light, because the lighting was dim, and the mattress was a bit harsh, to put it mildly. There was also a lack of shampoo and other small items in the shower. There was a shower gel (possibly liquid soap). Otherwise, everything is fine. Very friendly hosts, good breakfasts. There is an establishment with a good pilaf nearby.

The kind that only makes you think about food in the evening. Plans for the day are also discussed here and you will be recommended where you can go on an excursion, a taxi will be called, etc. And in the evening you can sit by that very living warm hearth and have a heartfelt conversation. and not talk too much. It seems that you have some very close friends next to you whom you have known for a long time. I will note such a moment. We stayed at the hotel at the end of February, when the temperature in Samarkand reached 20 degrees during the day. And despite the fact that the heating season seemed to be over, and there was no formal need to heat the room, the batteries turned on at night, which was very comfortable.
