They met us (well, as they met us, the guy at the reception didn't even raise his head to greet the guests) normally, they didn't even offer to take our suitcases to the luggage room, they made us wait 2 hours to check into an executive suite with an empty hotel, motivating the preparation of the room, and as a result, a lot of things didn't work in the room (air conditioning, the smell in the room, well, a basin and a clogged drain in the shower). The nice girls then tried to smooth the situation with fruits, but unfortunately the first impression could not be changed. It's very far from the center, if you plan to spend time there, in fact, the hotel may have a gym or spa, or maybe you can take excursions or a transfer, but we didn't know about it, they didn't tell us anything (giving us a key and saying - 5th floor) after waiting 2 hours in the lobby bar, we tried a good beer for reasonable money. In general, we won't be coming back. The room cost $ 150 per night without breakfast)

I really liked the breakfasts: selected products, a good choice. Directly opposite on the other side of the canal is the "Eternal City", a new tourist center with shops, restaurants and other entertainment.

The hotel is simply magnificent - beautiful, comfortable, friendly and executive staff. The bed is royal, the plumbing is new and modern, a bunch of gadgets with lighting, a good safe, an ironing board and an iron in the closet, as well as a bunch of hangers, soft disposable slippers. Bathrobes, towels and bed linen are new and boiling white. The kettle is in the room, replenishes the water every day when cleaning. The breakfast was excellent on our visit - what not - homemade yoghurts, sliced vegetables, very tasty cakes and excellent coffee, even red caviar was. Maybe it's not always like that, but we're lucky. It takes 20 minutes by taxi to Registan - 2 dollars, 200 rubles or 25,000 soums for Comfort class. There have been no problems with Yandex Taxi yet. The territory of Samarkand City is large, quiet and peaceful. The eternal city on the other side of the canal is about 2-2.5km on foot. By the way, they will take you from the hotel by electric car, you just need to ask at the reception, they also pick you up if you are going towards the hotel. I definitely recommend it!

Service in the restaurant for 4: at first they confused the dish with shrimp and brought caesar with shrimp, then they brought shish kebab less than they ordered, they reported, but instead of assorted beef / lamb, only lamb turned out)) did not understand the pricing of the wine list, the prices are 10 times !!! Above the same wine (Uzbek) in the store, the import is the same. With cognac, whiskey and beer, everything is fine 300%, which is the norm for a hotel of this level. In general, we were surprised. Room cleaning is good, reception work too. The hotel accepts only local currency, in the neighboring hotel (200 meters) there is a bank branch where you can change, keep in mind that banks do not work in the VSK.. the city center is about 11 km away, taxi 350-400 rubles.

It is very inconvenient that due to the competition, the entrance of taxi cars was blocked and I had to walk two kilometers from the highway. It's good that the weather was only +20. It is not written anywhere, but you can use the pool and spa in the neighboring hotel for free. The breakfasts are wonderful, pancakes, cheesecakes, scrambled eggs with any ingredients to order, mini samsa, manti, porridge, cottage cheese, vegetables, fruits, red and white fish, etc. The most delicious pilaf turned out to be at the hotel for breakfast. The bed linen was changed every day.

If there is no need to go to a public transport stop, then this is rather a plus. Based on the cost of Yandex.Taxis are not affected by such remoteness, but on the whole it is pleasantly quieter. Secondly, there is the most beautiful view from the windows. To the Rowing Canal, Fishing Lake and the Eternal City. Thirdly, the hotel is located in such a way that the Eternal City can be seen and not seen if desired - which is also good during public holidays and concerts. Because there are discos, color music and a crowd of people there at this time. If you want to relax without all this, then Lia is the best option possible. The Eternal City is a 25-minute walk along the path along the Rowing Canal. On the asphalt road - about 40. 7 minutes on the golf cart. But just walking around the territory in the evening is a pleasure. If you walk along the Rowing Canal, you can take many beautiful photos of the Eternal City and yourself on the illuminated ladders. If you walk along an asphalt road, it is also no less beautiful: illuminated trees and roses are blooming. The other locations of the center are even closer. The Congress Hall is 7 minutes away. The nearby Silk Road by Minyoun with a swimming pool, spa and authentic Chinese cuisine is 3 minutes away. Fishing Lake, a popular holiday destination, is no more than 10 km away. It seems to me that after Lia, you simply won't want to live in any other hotel in Samarkand. Many choose a tourist destination for conferences. But, as for me, it is also perfect for relaxation - in one hotel you can visit a spa, in another a swimming pool, in the Wellness Park Afrosiyob on the other side of the canal there are medical treatments - massage, pressure chamber, salt room and even ultrasound. There's a great pastry shop there. It will be better than Chocolate (for my taste, at least). You can devote a separate day to the Eternal city and the lake. And if you're lucky, you'll be able to see the singing fountains.
