I was going to write a review for a long time, but finally the impressions of the trip spread out on the shelves, and the review matured and fit into the sentences. We had a rest at the end of October 2025, from 22.10 to 31.10. So, a vacation in Abkhazia 13 years after the first visit to the country of the soul. The choice fell on the pension "Litfond". There were several reasons why it was there: a heated outdoor pool, meals, its own shuttle service, location and pleasant pricing policy. And I want to say that the choice was just 100 out of 100. Rosatom (namely, they took the boarding house on a long-term lease) spared no expense on it and turned Litfond into a solid five for Abkhazia without frills. What you liked: the picture on the boarding house's website is 100% the same as what you see in person. The rooms are newly renovated, clean linen, comfortable mattresses. There is a refrigerator, kettle, small set of necessary utensils, air conditioning. The room has a bathrobe for swimming in the pool or on the beach, and this is a huge plus. During the rest period (10 days), there have never been any interruptions in water and electricity, although even in the resort of Pitsunda this is not uncommon. I lived in a small building by the pool, and my friend lived in the main building. The small building is quite quiet, despite the fact that there is a cafe behind the wall. The Windows overlook the garden, you can hear the sea. But things are worse in the main building with sound insulation. You can hear the neighbors, the medical staff, who live on the 2nd floor during the construction of the medical building, and the garbage chute in the rooms by the elevator. But in the main building, you can access the technical balcony on the 12th floor and enjoy simply stunning views of the mountains, sea, and sky. The view is no worse than from the high-rise buildings in the resort. The territory of the boarding house is gentrified, it is being monitored: there are a lot of greenery, birds, benches, a playground, a rope park. The beach is equipped with the necessary minimum – sun beds, umbrellas, changing cabins, toilet, shower. The boarding house is safe: there are many cameras, guards often patrol. There are no outsiders on the territory in the evening, during the day it happens that vacationers come from the resort along the shore. Entertainment options: there is a bar inside the building and a cafe above the pool, discos, film screenings are held in the evenings, there is a sauna, hammam, gym, daytime entertainment such as yoga, bachata, aerobics, etc. But out of all this, we went to a disco a couple of times and once to a movie. The rest of the time we just walked a lot or went to Gagra, Sukhum, Pitsunda. The bus to Gagra and Pitsunda stops right in front of the boarding house, there is a schedule at the reception. The pool, as promised, is heated. I had a maximum of 26 degrees. It's especially cool when the autumn air is only 15-17, and you're swimming with a view of the mountains in the clouds. The pool is chlorinated, and it is closed several times a week in the morning to be cleaned of sand and small debris. The girls at the reception and in the booking department are smart. They will listen, offer a solution, etc. For example, they promptly helped with relocation when unforeseen circumstances arose during the vacation, which objectively saved the rest at Litfond. Nutrition: there were a lot of worries about the food, as the reviews were contradictory, but in fact it was delicious, sooooo delicious. There were always several side dishes, meat, salads, soups, porridge, sliced vegetables, pickles, sauces, airy bread, which is baked right there, pastries, jellies, cakes. Drinks include tea (packaged), coffee (instant), compote (cherry with "smoke" is just something amazing!!!), jelly, kefir. We purposely did not go to the debriefing, but half an hour later, when the first batch of vacationers had already eaten, by that time we had taken out all the food again. I've never had any stomach problems in 10 days. The only problem with fruits was that you could only find oranges and apples all the time, and if you were lucky, you could find all the exotics. When they were taken out, the wild campers pounced on the basket and grabbed five or six pieces in one hand. But thanks to the canteen staff, the issue was resolved, and a waiter was on duty at the basket, who made sure that there was enough for everyone. By the way, I would like to note that the staff in the dining room is very pleasant, friendly, always neat and nimble. They responded to all requests within their competence. I would also like to mention separately the cafe above the pool. It runs from May to November. The hostess, Farida, is warm and hospitable. The food is delicious in the cafe, and even if you missed breakfast/lunch/dinner, you can eat in the cafe. The prices are affordable. By the way, there is tangerine juice and feijoa compote on the menu, they cook it themselves. They work until the last client (even if he leaves at 2 a.m.). Among the disadvantages of Litfond, I would like to note that the staff does not always respond quickly to some simple everyday requests. A friend's light bulb burned out in the hallway. A worker came to her, unscrewed the burnt one, and that was it. My friend lived without a light in the hallway of the room for the last 3 days of rest, although she approached the staff several times with a reminder. There are very few coolers on the floors, and those that are are always empty. I had to go to the dining room with a bottle and fill it from decanters during meals. In the evening, there may be no lighting from the word at all on the territory, especially on the promenade along the shore. The lights were on for the first few days, but then they stopped abruptly. Don't expect a perfect room cleaning. It would be clean, but not perfect – there was still dust under the bed and in the ceiling lights. But the visible surfaces are clean. The story is not critical, Cyprus and Turkey also have enough of this. And there may also be stinky bugs hanging out in the room. They don't bite, but it's just unpleasant. They fly in through open windows and balcony doors. It is also important that if you go there for a vacation, it is better to clarify whether you will get to the Rosatom corporate check-in. During their visit, life at the boarding house freezes for ordinary vacationers: there will be no discos for vacationers, a bar, or film screenings, and the cafe above the pool will be fully occupied for "informal" gatherings. Among the disadvantages, these are, say, the traditions of the area: there are both dogs and cats on the territory. I read that they were mangy and sick, but I didn't see any of them here. Everyone is moderately well-fed (many come with locals who work here, and while they are on shift, they hang out on their own, so do not be surprised by huskies or Labradors walking on the territory), non-aggressive, friendly to each other and vacationers. In general, the plans for the development of the boarding house are optimistic: a free-standing medical building is about to be launched, and an indoor swimming pool is being built. And the staff of the boarding house is more interested in guests. If there is an opportunity, I will come here again 100%, because Abkhazia either responds or not.

For the first time in Abkhazia, we had a rest at the Literary Fund. We've been here since mid-October. The weather is varied, the first week was cold, the second is warmer. We arrived at a time when there were no animators for the first week, the pool was broken. That's why we went on excursions. There were children 's and adult discos . Thanks a lot to Mustafa, who organized darts and dominoes for us, and the children also wanted to play with us. Mustafa is a cheerful and responsible animator, without whom it would be very boring. Because the other girls weren't very active. Of course, I think it's better to go in the summer, it's already cold in the fall, you won't get scared in the sea, for older people without small people it's the best thing. Entertainment options include a tennis court and a basketball court, as well as balls and rackets. Table tennis, darts, cinema theater, dominoes, children's room. Canteen, the food is fine. If you attend guided tours and skip lunch, you are given a dry ration. Near the literary fund, if taxis, minibuses, everything is available, you do not need to look for anything. Most taxi drivers, as tour guides, will tell you a lot of interesting things about the sights along the way. I recommend a vacation in the Literary Fund.

We had a family vacation at the Litfond Hotel, from October 29 to November 6, 2025. We were very satisfied, this is the first time in the Literary Fund.I liked the wonderful playgrounds for children, the beautiful manicured territory of the hotel, the clean heated pool, the coastline with its own beach. Before that, we rested several times at the Paradise Hotel and Muser, the Litfond hotel is the best in comparison with them. The food in the hotel's dining room is dietary, varied, and ideal for children. Throughout the day, there are many different activities for both children and adults. I would like to highlight the work of the animators separately, Snow White Tanya and Lera worked conscientiously, they charged all the vacationers with their energy and positive attitude, the children followed them in a crowd, there was a very rich program Cartoon screenings for children were also organized in the hotel's cinema hall during the daytime, and in the evening there were movie screenings in the cinema hall. In general, our family liked everything. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel for the high quality of work.
