It is not clear whether the cafe is working at all or not, 04/18/2013 we lived in Mir Castle, according to reviews we found a cafe, wanted to have breakfast and waited until it opened at 11.00, at 10.59 a sign appeared "the cafe is closed for special service", called to ask when the special service ends, answered somewhere at 15.00, asked in the evening if you can come for dinner, the answer killed: The cafe will not work.. 🤦♀️

For the May holidays of 2022, my family went to the World. After visiting the castle, pretty hungry, we decided to take a walk around the village itself. To our great happiness, we went to the cafe "Lichtarik 1876". The cafe is small but cozy. It is clear that the owners tried to preserve and show the guests the historical value and flavor of this place. The cafe even has a small souvenir department, where we bought handmade clay magnets and a book for children. A nice receptionist advised us to try their specialties - daniki, bread and lard. We also took cucumbers with honey :) The bread in the cafe is baked by themselves, the lard is also salted by themselves of various types.. Everything turned out to be sooo delicious! The draniki are simply incredible!!! Lush, juicy, impossibly delicious. We found out that the cafe has its own secret - they grate potatoes in a special way. We took separate portions for ourselves and the children - as a result, we took half of them with us. They took just pancakes, and pots, and a sponge, and sausages.. The portions are large and hearty. So far, this is the most delicious place with Belarusian cuisine for me. I still remember how delicious it was for me! And I advise all my friends to take a look at the "Lichtarik 1876" when they are in the World.
And there is also a restaurant on the side of the church. It turned out that there were the same owners as in this cafe.. But it was closed because covid and other troubles made their own adjustments to the business:(

A cozy, quiet cafe! Insanely delicious Cuisine! Divine lard and pancakes. I was also amazed by the incredibly delicious Borodino bread. We offered three types of tinctures for trial - we liked them all, but cherry is a masterpiece! One hundred percent worth a visit to this place!

A small cafe owned by the same family. It is located in an old house. There are not very many tables and there may not be free space during the peak season, it is better to arrange in advance. They cook quickly and tasty. We took borscht, kholodnik, draniki and snacks. I recommend homemade lard, especially smoked, and homemade tinctures. You can even buy something with you.

A very pleasant cafe!
Interesting design with preservation of historical masonry, delicious large portions and polite positive staff. There is a high chair for kids. There are also dishes suitable for the little ones, although not in a separate menu.

Nice place, the center of the town. But it's a little dirty. Still, the floor should be washed more often and the tables cleaned better, otherwise they are sticky. I didn't see much originality in the food, just like everywhere else. We ordered a pork steak. Well, it was not grilled, as it usually happens, but simply boiled. Well, I didn't feel any salt, pepper, or any special flavor of the steak. There is one high chair for the baby for the whole room, and it does not wipe clean either.

Thanks to this place for leaving us hungry. On Tuesday, it turned out to be the only working cafe. At 55 minutes, the order was accepted, I asked the waitress, who came over reluctantly, how much hot food was being prepared, even before ordering. The answer is -20 minutes. Great. We had a minibus in an hour, we had to make it and that was fine. The soup was brought in 25 minutes, I asked about the pancakes, the answer is, they will be here now. After a couple of minutes, the waiter comes and says that they are delayed and will only be there in another 15 minutes. I was not just interested in readiness, if you make it hot for 40 minutes or more, why can't you say so right away, we would at least take a salad? The refrigerator is good, my husband took beer stew, it turned out to be an amateur, it was his own fault that he did not ask what it was before taking it. But the result is a lunch from one plate of a refrigerator for two. Before that, I was looking for coffee on arrival in the morning, the sign indicated that the institution was open from 9, at 11 o'clock it was still closed. As a result, we were quickly calculated as soon as I refused to wait for the hot stuff, without even asking if they could offer something else, ready-made, and the bill was brought without asking. If you want to eat, come not an hour before the minibus, but two.

We visited this cafe at the end of August. The bartender-waiter is super. Polite, humorous. On his advice, they took soup with porcini mushrooms, pancakes with something meat (in Belarusian) I do not remember the name of the dish. A plate with sliced bacon. Everything is very tasty. The portions are large. The prices are divine. I recommend everything to the guests.

Very good service, when we came in - the electricity was turned off throughout the town, but we were offered a very tasty cold brew (cold beetroot, roughly speaking) and the freshest bread of our own production.We decided to stay and did not regret it!
