Всем доброго дня. Жила в отеле с 28.12.24 по 07.01.25. В отеле все очень красиво, стилизованно, спокойно, уютно, как-тр по-домашнему, безумно приветливый, отзывчивый персонал. В одноместном номере было все, что нужно отдыхающему: чайник, одноразовый пакетированный чай, сахар, чайная пара, стакан, телевизор, холодильник, кондиционер, ежедневная уборка номеров. В душе: жидкое мыло в двух дозаторах, разовые тапочки, зубные принадлежности. В душевой и в комнате тёплые полы, очень комфортно. Питание очень достойное, много белковой пищи, овощи, фрукты, потрясающая выпечка, делают все в отеле. Достопримечательности Старого Баку в шаговой доступности, в т.ч., метро. Заказать такси без проблем, не дорого, можно доехать до Центра Гейдара Алиева за 3,5 маната.
Приезжайте в эту радушную страну, вас встретит очень добрый, открытый, дружелюбный народ!!!

Which was good:
1. Excellent location of the hotel. Of course, the old town itself, its main attractions, souvenir shops, restaurants and the metro are just a stone's throw away.
In front of the hotel there is a convenience store with everything you need, + a nice bonus - they sell alcohol 24/7 :)
Of course, the prices are 1.5-2 times more expensive than in supermarkets in the city.
There is a bakery next to the store where you can buy local pastries and sweets.
2. Hotel design.
A very nice design for an old castle with brick trim, decorated with local colorful chandeliers and painted plates.
3. The breakfasts are hearty, but not varied.
There is a choice at breakfast, you will not stay hungry, but you should not expect much variety.
If you want to drink cappuccino, latte, etc. for breakfast, you will need to buy these drinks at the bar (cappuccino costs 7 manats).
What was wrong:
1. Very high audibility between rooms.
They can be heard talking, zipping bags, turning on the water in the bathroom. Plus, you can hear people walking and talking in the corridors of the hotel.
2. Room cleaning is superficial.
The trash is thrown out, towels are changed, but the floors are clearly not cleaned, at least in the shower cabin for sure, there were also questions about the carpet.
For 8 nights, the bed linen was changed only once.
3. The standard room is very small.
I would not say that this is a categorical minus, but if space is important to someone, then a standard room with a double bed is very cramped. It is better to choose a more spacious room - comfort or suite.

Great hotel. Great location, everything is within walking distance. The staff is helpful and friendly. Delicious, hearty breakfasts. Nice rooms. We stayed for 8 days, during this time there were no problems, everything was very pleasant.

We stayed in this hotel recently. I want to tell you how things really are with accommodation in this hotel, since most of the positive reviews do not reflect reality, to put it mildly...
At first, the room was very, very cold, the air conditioner was not working, the building was made of stone. And there was a lot of audibility, absolutely all the neighbors behind the wall could be heard, from above, from below, and they could hear us...
all the rooms were absolutely small (which were economy), so much so that you had to move quietly so as not to touch anything.
Then, we asked for another number. And they changed it for us... The second room was a "real sauna", it was impossible to sleep, the heating in the room is not regulated by the word at all. We didn't sleep at all (!) for a couple of days, lying down, covered in sticky sweat...
The room with one large bed was changed to a room with 2 separate beds (!?). When asked why(?), we are a married couple. They just said there were no other numbers. Then, however, we changed the room to a room with one bed... But also, like the previous one, it was just a sauna... :(
Now, about the staff... We tried to negotiate a deal bypassing the booking office and set a price for us as... At the booking office(!) with a discount.
At the same time, I know our other tourists who lived at the same time in the same hotel and rooms of the same category are 30 percent cheaper (!). How is that?!... Generally, an unpleasant moment.
The breakfasts are monotonous, but more or less...
At the check-out, they also charged us extra money, like for taxes :) Why didn't you take the money immediately upon arrival? What if this money didn't exist??? Since we were already leaving, in fact, the vacation was ending. The result is a spoiled vacation, a spoiled mood. And they returned to their homeland with a cold (poor living conditions affect them).
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone for any money!

A very pleasant, atmospheric hotel. Great location in the old town, not far from the gate and the metro station. The staff is helpful, they helped even before check-in. The breakfasts are hearty, with one menu, but they don't get boring in four days. Be prepared for tired plumbing. The rigidity of the mattress is excellent, the second pillows are available. I recommend it for a small number of days! The entrance to the hotel is indicated correctly on Yandex maps.

Just a resume.. I liked it!The hotel is rather 3, but honest, which means we take shampoos, gels, pastes, brushes and razors with us.
The location is great, the center of the old town. The hotel is clean and cozy. The rooms are not large, just for those who come to the hotel to wash and sleep after walking. The breakfast is hearty and delicious. The staff is customer-oriented, they will help in any way they can. Don't count on the stunning view from the window, the streets are narrow and the windows overlook the next wall. And this is in almost all hotels in the old town. Tip, don't take the first floor. Tourists walk noisily under the windows . If you do not close the curtains, then you are in the palm of your hand.

As for me, it is a very wonderful hotel located in the old town. Very stylish outside and inside) I looked at what others were writing and downgrading the hotel due to the fact that from the windows you can see how the laundry is hanging between the buildings: but for me, it's so cute!!! Exotic! The old town! I would even add an asterisk for that) The staff is very attentive: they will help you carry things and tell you details about life in Baku. During the 4 days of stay, three employees at the reception spoke excellent Russian. We lived in a room on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of the Shirvanshahs' Palace and one of the old streets, part of the city lighting is visible. The bathroom is bright because one of the sides is completely frosted glass.
Although the breakfasts are monotonous, they are hearty and delicious with very nice service.
I definitely recommend it! and even small flaws in the form of an insufficient number of outlets in the room did not prevent me from enjoying my stay in beautiful Baku!

A nice small hotel in the very center of Baku on the border of the old city near the Icherisheher metro station. Clean, cozy rooms. Cleaning every day. The building has an elevator. Breakfast is served on the top floor with a view of the 3 towers. However, the breakfast is monotonous and if you want to buy something in the room, there is a shop nearby, and in the room you will find a kettle and bags of delicious azerchai. I really liked it, including the hospitality of the staff and reception staff. I will come back here again and recommend it to all travelers, married couples for a tourist and romantic pastime in Baku.

A wonderful hotel in the old city of Baku. The reception staff speaks Azerbaijani, English and Russian, always responsive and positive. The rooms are cleaned every day. The rooms and the building itself are antique with its own charm. Be prepared for the fact that the noise insulation is weak, the neighbors will hear you and you will hear them. If you have a restless child, it is better to find another accommodation option so as not to inconvenience others and not to create unnecessary nerves for yourself. The hotel has an excellent location: close to the metro, close to restaurants, the embankment, and all the necessary services for recreation. In general, a wonderful hotel for people with moderate requests.

It's not the first time we've stopped. Yes, the rooms are small, but very clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, they speak Russian, among other things. We are ready to help with any questions.
The hotel building, lobby and breakfast area are comfortably and colorfully decorated. You can have a quiet time, we watched football in the evening.
Believe me, we have tried more than one hotel in Baku, and you can pay much more, but get a bottle peeking out from under the bed and a balcony with cigarette butts and a glass, since the staff did not bother to clean the room after the previous guests. As soon as the room was available here, we immediately packed up and returned to Maajid.
We recommend it and wish you success!

Our vacation in Baku was overshadowed by our stay at the Maajid hotel, but according to the rules of feedback, I will start with the pros:
1. Price (significantly lower than in other hotels)
2. Location (in the old town)
3. Beautiful interior
4. Hearty breakfasts
And what about the cons.
Day One:
we stayed in a room, very small, well, we thought with our daughter in cramped quarters, but not offended. Now let's put our things in the safe and go see the city. Oh, and the safe doesn't work. I came up to the reception and was told: "Well, you don't keep valuables in a prominent place, put them in a suitcase. Wow!
Thanks for the life hack. I put it in my suitcase. Of course, my trust is at the "God" level.
Night:
We are trying to close from the inside - the lock does not work. Well, the lock is magnetically closed. We sleep soundly with my daughter, I wake up from rustling at the door. I open my eyes and see that people are entering my room. I shout: "who are you", I hear they are confused themselves: "Oh, sorry, wrong way." My daughter and I just couldn't sleep for 1.5 hours out of fear, and the audibility was such that every 5 minutes it seemed that someone was walking and talking in our room, and not in the next one.
We wake up in the morning and it smells like food, of course it's fine, but I would like freshness (problems with the hood going).
Downstairs at the reception we check about our overnight guests. It turns out that they were given a cleaning lady's key card, which opens all the doors, and tourists at night confused their rooms with ours from the road. I didn't get an apology!
We stayed at the hotel for 7 days with friends, that they could not bring us water to the room and tea bags, we had to ask all the time.
There is also a problem with sockets, one outlet for a refrigerator and a kettle. I had to switch all the time. Is it 4 stars?
On the last day, they didn't even bring toilet paper to our room. I put 3 stars, the hotel does not pull higher.

The location is just super! Near the entrance to the old town from the metro side, close to attractions.
The room is beautiful, everything stated is there, the water is fine, the air conditioning is fine, the refrigerator is fine!
The staff is just wonderful: they helped me in a difficult situation, got into the situation and settled me without payment while I was solving my problems with Russian cards.
Of the minuses - the entrance group, which actually does not exist, it is close to the houses, neighbors dry laundry before entering the hotel)).
Breakfast is normal, it is actually cooked in front of you, and it looks very homey.

The location of the hotel is excellent, in the old town, all the sights are nearby, but the entrance is from a narrow street where neighbors dry their underwear, including underwear. The manager is trying to get you to pay in cash, even if you can pay with a card, then the terminal does not work, then your card will not pass, but if you insist on paying with a card, then everything magically starts working. The breakfasts are terrible, we stayed for one night, so we tried only one breakfast. Dishes with chips, without a choice, bring everyone the same menu. Egg, bread, a piece of very salty cheese, half a piece of boiled sausage, portions of honey, jam, butter and fried pita bread, inside again very salty cheese. The declared bar and restaurant are closed. The standard rooms are very small, the sink may be split, there is a hole in the wall from the outlet that stood there earlier, etc. But the furniture is not bad, the air conditioner works well, refrigerator,kettle,cups, glasses, tea, sugar. You can't hear the street in the rooms, but you can hear the neighbors well. I do not advise you to take a transfer from the airport, cat. the hotel offers. Complete price-quality discrepancy. The driver's car is very old and dirty, the air conditioner does not work, the stated price is 30 manats or $ 18. Payment in cash only. We had cash rubles and euros, they don't take rubles at all, we agreed on 20 euros. Although, if you order a taxi through uber, the cost to / from the airport is 8.5 manats. Only taxis do not enter the old town, but this is not a problem, just go out to the glass pyramid, two minutes from the hotel. Not all the staff speaks Russian, but they seem to speak English.

A convenient place for lovers of history and architecture is located in the "old town". It's nice to wander through the narrow winding streets. Every time we found something new and interesting on these streets. The staff is friendly. The breakfasts are hearty, but monotonous. The issue of cleanliness in the room is within the norm. The room is without frills, but everything you need was present. Upon departure, we were helped at the reception to call a taxi to the airport, which arrived directly to the hotel and took us for a reasonable price.

A cozy, quiet hotel. Clean, comfortable! The rooms are small, but after running around the city, that's what you need to relax! The hotel is located in the old town, in the fortress itself. It's very cool- you came out- and immediately you are already in the main tourist place! The rooms are spacious. Round-the-clock check-in and check-out. A wonderful young man came out and helped carry the suitcase up the stairs. Delicious and hearty breakfast, prada, the same thing every day, we were there for three days, if it had been longer, it might have gotten boring. There is a restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner. We had a plane in the evening, we were allowed to leave our things after the room was vacated. And the price for accommodation is very gentle.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of the old town. The breakfasts are delicious, several types of scrambled eggs, porridge. They asked their daughter to boil an egg-everything was cooked. In the room you can hear everything that happens in the corridor, especially if you live on the ground floor, so listen at 23 at night, who is there and what is being said at the reception. The price includes only breakfast and, to be honest, it is not particularly tasty and very greasy. The rooms themselves are beautiful, neat, but very cramped. More like a guest house than a hotel. The card from the number is not always included in the receiver, as it is already stratified :)
