The place is beautiful! Awesome nature and the ancient city itself. The amount of work to build it is impressive! I've heard a lot about "unearthly" construction technologies, but, in fact, there are only three buildings with decent construction quality. Anyone could have made the rest of the buildings. By the way, in the same Egypt, the buildings are more impressive both in terms of stone weight and processing (we were there 2 weeks before Machu Picchu). In any case, the place is a must-visit! Beautiful, majestic, interesting!

It needs to be seen. It's not easy to get there: Lima-Cusco-Oyatamba-Machu Picchu. Then by bus. It is better to take tickets in advance. If you are going to climb Vaina Picchu, it is better to take tickets for the first ascent during the hot season (we were in October). Fans of panoramic views will get a real pleasure.
