They did NOT give me a glass of water in the dining hall. Just a glass of water! In any country in the world you will be served a glass of plain water! At the Maikhao Palm Beach resort - NO! Today, September 19th, there is no Internet for half a day. It is a very bad hotel.

We love this hotel very much, we are staying for the second time. The breakfasts have become much better. Yes, the hotel is old and some things need to be renovated, but absolutely everything is covered by the advantages - absolutely amazing staff, a gorgeous pool, spacious rooms, an awesome bathtub, for rooms on the ground floor there is direct access to the pool (separate love)... and a huge plus for us personally is that there are few people and the location is a bit remote. The sea is opposite the hotel, the beach is very beautiful. If necessary, for 60 baht, you can take a tuk-tuk to Seven Eleven in 5 minutes, or take a 15-20-minute walk. There are 2 more shops nearby, exchangers and cafes. We will definitely come back and generally want to make it a tradition to stay here for a couple of days when arriving in Phuket and then go on to other locations.
