🇺🇦 Varenichnaya cafe in Baku with Ukrainian cuisine
🤤 Homely: cozy atmosphere, delicious homemade food, friendly staff. Everything is on top and like at mom's house 🤍
– 🥟 Dumplings (7.50-14 ₼) – with different fillings, there are permanent and seasonal ones, at the time of writing the post, the filling of potatoes and oyster mushrooms is in the seasonal menu. Served with sour cream. And dumplings and sour cream. The dough and filling are tender, the dumplings themselves are of optimal shape.
Borscht with pampushki (8 ₼) is a real rich Ukrainian borscht with pampushki, garlic and herbs. Satisfying and delicious.
– 🥗 Homemade salad (9.50 ₼) – the portion is small, the salad is more like a tincture snack. It's delicious, there's not much mayonnaise, smoked chicken and pickled mushrooms combine well in the composition.
– 🍔 Author's derun-burger with chicken cutlet (12 ₼) – burger with chicken cutlet, instead of bread on both sides - deruns. Deruns are Ukrainian pancakes, but slightly less fried than Belarusian ones. There is also a fresh tomato, radish, pickled cucumber and sauce in the burger.

Undeservedly low rating!
Borscht is great, dumplings with cottage cheese too, derun burger - everything is very tasty!
And quickly, no maintenance issues. I certainly recommend it!

A great place, with a homely and cozy interior, delicious food. I take a star for the service, it's a little lame here, which is why everything takes a very long time and is slow.

My favorite place in Baku! Minced meat, ribs, dumplings, your own horseradish is a miracle!!! Real Ukrainian cuisine! All the holidays are here. The service is great!🙌

The restaurant is just a fairy tale. All dishes are for 5+. Especially minced meat. You can lick pancakes with your fingers. I definitely advise you to visit.

Just don't come here. The service is nowhere lower, for a long time, and they also managed to bring 2 portions of dumplings instead of 3. The cafe itself is pleasant, the interior is sincere, but poor-quality service spoils everything. And expensive

An authentic restaurant of Ukrainian cuisine. Polite staff, delicious food, large portions. A warm welcome in Ukrainian. Good price/quality ratio. I recommend it, it's worth it.

Very tasty dishes, cozy, brought quickly enough and not just warmed up but cooked. The prices are acceptable, the bill for two has reached 58 manats. I recommend eggplants to everyone - they melt right in your mouth - cooking for 10-15 minutes!!!

Tasty, satisfying, the portions are normal. Maybe some dishes are too greasy for someone. The interior is cool. Just to have a snack or sit with the company is the best thing. I recommend.

Sooooo delicious themed restaurant in the center of Baku.
These are the best business lunches I could find in the area. What is borscht with pompushki worth! And dumplings, like grandma's!
It is also impossible not to mention the friendly staff who work very quickly and carefully.
