It's a great place, we went here almost every day. Very tasty, colorful and atmospheric. And most importantly, it is inexpensive, compared to other places in Baku. Special thanks to Alexander for his care, help and delicious food. I recommend this place to everyone. And especially Alexandra.

It's a great restaurant. Interesting interior with antique items... It's almost like we've been to museums. The officials are friendly, but they don't speak Russian. But the chef completely compensates for the language gap. A friendly guy came, clarified his wishes, prepared an excellent barbecue with a very effective serving, and treated me to a peach moonshine. I recommend it 100%!

I really liked the place. They put us, a family of 4 people, in a separate room with a long table and low sofas around - atmospheric! The price tag is slightly lower than in the Old Town. My daughter ordered some kind of persimmon, it was brought in a clay pot with a burning fire in the lid. Kutabs are delicious! The crispy eggplant is excellent! I liked everything! Thank you very much!

An amazing place that combines the great taste of the dishes and their very low cost. We wandered into this restaurant by accident, and for the rest of our vacation we went to dine only here. The main secret of Mangalia's success is Alexander. He, like a wise genie, will appear out of nowhere at the right moment and solve everything in a couple of minutes. I recommend it to everyone!!!

It is a great option to taste local cuisine near the old town center. The owner met with great attention and recommended what he wanted in the end. They didn't push anything extra in - just what they needed! The recommended local wine turned out to be no worse than the elite Franciscan wines! Of those cafes that managed to visit Baku, this turned out to be the most "local".

Service - smiling waiter, loyal approach to Russian tourists (a Russian-speaking employee immediately approached).
The atmosphere is cramped, live music, a lot of dust on the chairs and there are chips on the dishes.
Food - before ordering, we asked for advice on the most delicious dish to get a good impression of the city of Baku, money is not a problem. We were advised to have a lula and a barbecue. We hung our ears and ordered the above-mentioned food, and a vegetable salad. What did you get in the end? An absolutely tasteless salad (surprisingly, in this country) a cradle of veins and cartilage with an overcooked crust 15 cm long, and a shish kebab 3 pieces, two of which consisted of 60% bones, and the third piece was completely meat-free, there was only fat. They gave away 22 manats for nothing. To summarize: there are places in this city, in the basement, where for this amount you can get a mountain of vegetables, a delicious meat dish of impressive size, tea, bread and a lot of pleasant emotions. (This was suggested to us by a local cook, who strictly forbade going to restaurants and suggested where to look for what, bow low to her for this) see the photo, draw conclusions. The impression is ruined. There was a desire to teach the guys how to make and serve shish kebab, but it is not accepted to make a greyhound in a foreign country. All the best.

The food is normal, I would say ordinary, but nevertheless, something may not be conveyed, then prove that it did not happen. It helps a lot if you take a picture right away. Tips are 15%, not 5%. It seems that I would not mind paying 15% if everything is at the highest level, and unfortunately there is no top level. It is necessary to carefully look at the prices in the menu and in the invoice. Unfortunately, they cheat by referring to an error in the program. I attach the first (allegedly erroneous) and second (after correction) checks. I need an eye. It is because of such restaurants and employees that the impression of hospitable Baku is blurred.

They charged 15% for the service as tourists, instead of 5% as from the next table. Why not 50%? Everything apparently depends on the mood. They also brought and counted for a dish that we didn't order at all, we thought it was included in the price, But no! It is necessary to check everything, and it is better not to go to such an institution at all and not spoil your mood. After all, we go to restaurants and for the mood, and not to lose it. We do NOT recommend visiting the institution!
