In the holy month of Ramadan, it is supposed to be as merciful as possible, but it is also not forbidden to tell the truth! The other day, my colleagues and I, consisting of seven people (fasting), were looking for a place where we could come to iftar, i.e. to talk after another day of fasting. We were looking for a place near the office, and to make it delicious and homely. We chose the cafe “Mansarda”, made a pre-order for more than a day, even made an advance payment. The time of Iftar on March 20, 2024 was 18:08, we were already sitting in the cafe at 18:00 and at first everything looked great: Salads, bread baskets, hychina were waiting for us on the table ... and lo and behold, even water with dates (which we did not order (we thought a nice bonus to the iftar from the institution). We managed to pray, make dua and made a conversation with dates and water. We understood that it was Iftar time, and that there were enough guests in the cafe and perhaps the waiters did not have time to deliver ready orders. And meanwhile, time passed... after 15 minutes of waiting, we still dared to call the waiter to inquire about the fate of our dinner, to which we received an indistinct answer: I'll find out now! After another 10 minutes, the soups were finally brought out (there were only 3 of them in the order, and the rest were content with their own saliva, because we dealt with salads and hychina for the first 5 minutes of waiting. 18:47 we brought out side dishes for the ordered steaks (without steaks - 4 servings of double steaks)! After a while, fried walleye was brought out, but also WITHOUT cream sauce (( Finally, an hour after our arrival, the cooled double steaks were brought out, although it is difficult to call them steaks. We were rather given chops no thicker than 8 mm of chicken and beef in a sauce with mushrooms. The guy with the pike perch waited for his sauce after the steaks... (he had to wrap up his entire dinner and take it with him)! And the most annoying thing is when the guests who came after us, without pre-ordering, received their dishes earlier than we did, managed to eat and even take them with us, and we were still waiting for the main course. According to the taste of the dishes, perhaps I will already be biased, because after an hour of waiting and serving cold dishes, it is difficult to enjoy culinary delights! We literally stuffed our bellies with something and hurried away quickly. We were in such a hurry that when we paid the bill, we didn't even notice how 2 bottles of mineral water were included (which, I repeat, we didn't order)! The rating is one star only because I can't give minus 10 stars!
