There are a lot of outraged people here , I want to say that you came not to 5 stars , but to 3 stars , and that should say it all !!!!!

We stayed at the Marabout Hotel from 17.10 to 27.10.25. We love to relax in Tunisia, but this time we were very unlucky. The sea and sand are beautiful as always, but that's where the positive ends. Huge families of vacationers are brought to this hotel every day by buses from Algeria under a social program. Therefore, there is a constant noise and uproar in the hotel from adults and children who do not know how to behave in any other way. There is a lot of food in the cafe, but it is designed for national tastes, very spicy, as we were told, the food is designed for the local population, many dishes are impossible to take in your mouth, but it disappears very quickly, as the local population quickly takes everything apart in huge portions, little gets out of fish and meat. They were even asked to leave their bags at the entrance, as they carried a lot of food in their bags. As for the pool, we have never ventured in there, as the local population swims in the pool in outerwear, and it is not very pleasant. Yes, we respect national traditions, but then respect our traditions as well - you don't have to send people from Russia to such hotels, or tell us and show us how it will be so that there are no unpleasant surprises. We're staying at this terrible hotel. I was here earlier in 2022, there was no such horror. I'm on vacation at the moment, and the room is very dirty. The floors are dirty, there's a lot of hair everywhere, the bed is stained and hairy, and the towels are gray (dirty-looking) and stained. The furniture is very "tired" and very dirty, the entire surface is sticky with dirt. The bathroom has not been washed for a very long time, the curtain on the bathroom is dirty, black (although it was white once), the toilet is dirty, the mirrors have not been washed for a long time. The inside of the closet is dirty and covered in dust in the corners. When asked to clean everything well, they were outraged at the reception, but we want a lot. When the manager was called, the situation changed. The room was cleaned, the floors were cleaned, towels were found white, and the bed linen was replaced with clean ones. You can live. Now about the dining room, this place cannot be called a restaurant at all. The dishes are all dirty, there are traces of food on the forks and boats, plates. The cups were washed very badly, and there were leftovers of food and coffee. The tables are in terrible condition, the napkins are dirty. THE SANITATION IS COMPLETE!!! The food is terrible, and the only things you can eat are scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, vegetables, herbs, and rolls. There were fruits today, but the grapes are spoiled, the watermelon is sluggish. If you come to the end of lunch, then there is nothing left to eat. There's nowhere to sit, as they don't have time to clean up. Lack of plates, cups and cutlery. A lot of broken dishes. Initially, I understood that I was going to 3*, but now it's not even a hotel, but some kind of eatery. One of the advantages: a nice big beach with clean, white sand. Beautiful sea. There are two pools, there is a pool for children. The territory is not large, but it is beautiful and well maintained. Beautiful fountains and palm trees. There is a small water park. BUT!!! I don't advise anyone to come here, at least not now. Maybe the hotel management will change its concept and improve the quality of work and service for tourists.
