Wanted to surprise my man with a set of balloons in the room on his birthday, hotel security and management did not allow me to bring the balloons inside the room, because apparently helium balloons are a huge risk!
Never has anyone mentioned this anywhere, I spent a lot of money on these balloons and wanted to surprise my man on his birthday!
This is ridiculous. Below you can find a post from their official instagram page with balloons being clearly in the room

Wonderful rooms, Buffet breakfast. The staff is polite and helpful, our girl left the ring on the table in the toilet, washed her hands. She came back, but there was no ring. She went to the reception, they returned it to her. It was a pleasure. We never got to the pool, there were a lot of events from Friday to Sunday - a seminar from Network 21.!!! Yes, there was Wi-Fi!!! Location: it is necessary to go up to the 5th floor by elevator using a key card, as well as to go down, since there is no exit from the stairs to the 1st floor.

The hotel is a little tired, but it is being renovated. The staff is excellent, they try very hard for customers and, admittedly, this significantly levels the "fatigue" of the hotel. The location is definitely the best in the city! The breakfasts are very varied, the eyes run away. Everything is delicious! They offer freshly squeezed juices. Mattresses, pillows and bed linen are impeccable! They did not get enough sleep, but fell into the Realm of Morpheus.
I recommend it!

A wonderful hotel! a 2-room room with a view of Ararat, the service is excellent, thanks to the maid Varduya for the warm welcome and cordial care! Great breakfasts. Freshly squeezed juices, delicious pies with herbs, rejan, basturma, sujuk, freshly baked pancakes and an omelet to order. The location is the very center, the favorite beautiful square.
Many thanks to the entire hotel team. If Yerevan is only Marriott!

A very tired hotel. The service is at 5, there are no questions here, but everything else! In the room at check-in: there was no bathrobe, room service menu, and the shower did not work. If you think about it, it's a vicious circle in which you can't eat, wash, or report it)))) and it's not particularly funny when you stomp to the reception for 10 minutes around the hotel. in my only free 2 hours, I was busy fixing it all. And then my swimsuit was stolen. Maybe, of course, he was blown off the balcony and carried away from the territory by a hurricane. But no one found him.
The breakfast is decent.

Marriott is located in the center of the heart of the city . Yerevan , we are so lucky that we got to the city Day this year! The hotel was very "tired", I had a deluxe room, there was little space in the bathroom - there was nowhere to put a toothbrush and toothpaste, not to mention the rest of the accessories. The renovation is old, the carpet in the room and corridors is old and dirty. There is nothing to eat in the restaurant for breakfast except sausages and scramble, most of the restaurant is occupied by a table with dishes from which there is nothing to choose. Very upset

The people are wonderful, comfortable.
Of the minuses, it was not me who noticed, but my daughter of 15 years old, the curtains were dirty and some kind of plug fell off in the bathroom.

Russian Russian reception staff in most cases pretends that they do not understand Russian, the restaurant staff and maids are polite and friendly, speak Russian and answer questions (for which I thank them very much). The hotel was of course a little tired, old faucets, showers, carpeting, it was cold in the rooms. In Rooms that have a view of the square, it is better not to settle in, the window cannot be opened, noise. The beds are very comfortable, high, towels and bathrobes are not in all rooms, sometimes making a replacement, the smell of whiteness was felt. To ask for something, you need to wait a very long time.
Breakfast is normal, definitely not 5 *, everything is from the main, but in some kind of restriction. There were dirty dishes, they didn't clean for a long time, it didn't look very good.

I was in Yerevan on business last week, staying at the Armenia Marriott Hotel. The hotel is wonderful in the heart of the city, the staff is very attentive. I especially wanted to mention the work of a maid on the 4th floor named Vardui.
I recommend everyone in Yerevan to stay in Marriott.

The trouble is, the hotel is shabby and dirty. Upon arrival, the reception is empty. We spent about five minutes looking for someone to check in. The standard room is small. There is not even a place to place your screws in the bathroom. They haven't changed their underwear in 3 days. Towels are washed tired.
The lobby bar is closed. You need to go out into the 36 degree heat on the veranda at the entrance to the hotel.

This location, very tasty and hearty breakfasts, cozy rooms, large beds, a compliment from the hotel dried fruits, very nice, excellent room cleaning, two balconies, catering in the restaurant and at the reception for 5+, the smell of flavoring on the 1st floor is just a fairy tale, there is a dressing room))) among the disadvantages, the hotel was built in 1954. Therefore, in some places it is noticeable, low ceilings, it is difficult to find a way out of the hotel))), a difficult steep staircase to the elevator, slightly requires cleaning the carpet.
