This Cairo Marriott has several distinct advantages over many other five-star hotels in greater Cairo. The main thing is that looking out of the room window or sitting at the breakfast table, you see the pyramids. In addition, the hotel is quite new (it looks about 20-25 years old, no more), low-rise, with a large private territory.
And also, when the new airport is finally launched and the large museum is fully opened, the hotel will be in the very center of events.

I lived in March of this year in a hotel across the street. And I envied the guests of this hotel because of the large well-groomed territory, where tall palm trees created a cool shade, and colorful shrubs and flowers pleased the eye.

If you are a sensitive person to the situation on the street, then everything is very bad on the streets near the pyramids. Dirty, dirty and dirty in every sense. The hotel has its own huge territory. Not a single hotel there has such a thing.

Yes, the hotel is a bit shabby, in need of renovation, but the location and overall impression deserve 5 stars. The pyramids are a 10-minute walk away.
The staff is pleasant, a little intrusive (= tips).
First, they put us in a room with access to the road, where it is very noisy due to the constant active traffic. I asked to find another, quieter room - they found it, moved it. This is a huge plus and thank you very much)
The breakfasts are not bad, for every taste.
I stayed for work, so I couldn't evaluate the hotel and the staff in terms of organizing excursions, etc.

a magnificent oasis in the immediate vicinity of the pyramids! huge swimming pool, great restaurant. We lived in 474 rooms, this is the view from the balcony! if you go to Cairo to see the pyramids, then stop there only!

Tired, a lot of people, mediocre breakfast, rooms without a view of the pyramids - don't make any sense. The price does not match the quality, but if there is nowhere to put the money, then you can try it as an interesting experience of staying in a historic hotel and having breakfast with a view of the pyramids)

for the night show at the pyramids, VIP seats were taken at the office for $ 65 - but the next day, when they came to pay for an excursion to the pyramids, they said they were mistaken and returned $ 5 per person.
- the problem is with the staff - they do everything for an extremely long time, perhaps hinting at tips in this way, but they would have received them if they had done everything a little faster. if you are in the room and they are bringing water at this moment, then be prepared for the fact that first they will take away two glasses, then they will bring two clean glasses, then they will take two glasses and bring two clean glasses, then they will go for water and bring two bottles to the bedroom, then they will go again for water and two bottles will be brought to the living room (we had a deluxe room with a view of the pyramids - these are two combined rooms, one bedroom, a second living room, two bathrooms in them and toilets.)
all the staff are friendly and smiling, but they don't even have a clue what "privacy of a privileged guest" is, in the afternoon they started repairing the tile path by the pool, this is a jack drill piercing a tile, workers laying this tile on a trolley dropped it - an additional sharp noise..
in general, the last day of relaxing by the pool was not a success..
