There were two glasses for repair. In some cases, the master immediately recognized that the severed shackle could not be soldered, because it is with an aluminum alloy that is incapable of soldering due to its physical properties. Secondly, the nose retention element was broken off (I don't know what it's called). They have been in this condition for several years, and I had them as spare parts. So the master did everything in these glasses, even changed the plastic softener elements, and once no one could fix these glasses. Later, I ordered new glasses instead of the main ones with a broken shackle. So, they immediately asked me a question, did I go here to try to fix it?

The glasses in a rather expensive frame ($70) have a broken flex in the arm (a spring loop). We recommended this place as one of the few places where you can solder the frame loop. The master did his job quickly, but very sloppily. The repair site is scratched, the slots of the screw heads seem to be crumpled, one screw is not twisted at all. When asked to polish the scratches on the outside of the frame, it was said - "Well, traces of repair will remain in any case." In fairness, the master polished the outer side of the scratched shackle to a more or less acceptable appearance, but from a long time of polishing, the metal heated up and the plastic of the shackle led a little. Of course, I understand - what kind of money, such slippers (repair cost 10BYN), but you have to be careful. They would say, guys, we do it quickly, cheaply, but on a collective farm - that's it, no further complaints on my part. In my opinion, we can recommend the repair of any cheap frames here, which is not a pity. Yes, and the sharpening will probably be good. In the photo there is a loop on the left (normal) and on the right (repaired).
