The place is legendary, one can say historical. In the Soviet years, it was possible to have a delicious and quite affordable lunch with kebabs and sausages there (grandma and grandpa told me). And now prices have become quite biting, respectively, and not everyone can go there. But most of the guests of the capital, especially those who are visiting us for the first time, consider it their duty to visit the famous Blue Domes. The facade of the building itself remained the same as in the Soviet years. The landmark is being carefully restored. In summer, the design of the summer veranda looks very interesting. Even if the budget does not allow you to have dinner there, but you always want to walk past. It's very beautiful.

Spoiled architecture and the concept of a "popular" institution. The beautiful iconic architecture for the city and time has been redone several times during the noughties and today represents kitsch from modernism, high-tech and exotic (oriental?) The Baroque is of low quality. Monstrous cuisine: European, Oriental, Chinese and Japanese cuisines are presented. It is clear that they want to please everyone, but it is impossible to choose something to taste, you get tired of wading through a huge menu. High prices, which is understandable (see Exotic Baroque). The sad fact is that it is unlikely that an institution or a place will be sold for sane money to a competent investor, and it is unlikely that the current owner will redo it for something good, human. This means that the place will remain empty and lost.

I recommend tourists to avoid this place. The bill for 2 mediocre cappuccinos: 105,000 soums. It tastes cooked from old grain. They refused to accept payment with the MIR card, but, of course, they did not give a check. They paid in silence and left. Nearby in the Tashkent hotel, coffee is cheaper, better and their kindergarten is very cozy, and the service is with a smile.

The chefs are probably good. The service is at 4, no higher, although the waiters are rushing around in pairs, and even wearing gloves. But in fact there is more fuss. And here again, 20% of the service is already included. I always leave tea, but for the life of me, I will never accept the inclusion of the service in the receipt automatically as the norm. Give the waiter a motive, and give me the opportunity to evaluate his work. There is no point in voicing the weight of the receipt - it corresponds to the institution, there is no question. In general, you can go for the sake of curiosity. Moreover, I recommend always checking in advance by phone whether they are ready to receive you. And some dishes should be ordered in time, so as not to wait an hour on the spot. Everything is cooked fresh, which is a big plus.
