We are staying at this hotel for the third time. 20, 21 and now 25 years. As you can see, something attracts us here) A great place to relax. The sea with a great beach is 200 meters away. There is a swimming pool, but with a good sea, it is mainly for children. There are free sun beds on the beach for hotel guests, for the rest the price is 400 rubles. The hotel has comfortable and spacious rooms. The houses themselves are wooden, the smell in the room is gorgeous. There was a slight smell in the bathroom, but I think it's a sewage problem. But there were no problems with water, and in Gudauta this is one of the problems for local residents. Towels are changed every day for both bath and beach towels. In the evening, you can relax by the pool, listen to music, and watch music videos on the big screen. Breakfast is the usual, no frills, but delicious) Lunch and dinner have never been ordered, but there is such an opportunity. Prices are humane. We had a vacation with my husband in July 2025. I booked on the "Island". The hotel stands out for its country-style appearance, very nice houses. And I liked everything inside the room.a good mattress on the bed, pillows, better than in other places where we were. The food is not good, I do not recommend even spending money, and this is not only my opinion, we talked with other residents, everyone was unhappy, we tried breakfasts, lunches, dinners. You can go down to the sea and eat at a cafe. The road to the beach passes through a wonderful garden, the beach is very wide.there are canopies, sun beds from the hotel for free. But our vacation did not happen here, we felt a very unpleasant smell, examined the shore and found 2 streams in different places (one of them at the Rodina hotel), which flowed into the sea, and carried with them just this smell. I didn't want to swim in the sea anymore. Someone will say that it's like that everywhere, they pour unclean water into the sea, but I didn't want to put up with such a blatant smell. When we went to the promenade along the embankment in the evening, opposite the Motherland, there was just this smell, we were generally surprised how it was possible to relax there. The next day we decided to leave, we "butted heads" with the "Island" for a long time to get the money back, although the hotel was not against it, in the end we had to live another day, and they "let us go." There are good memories of the hotel itself (except for the food, of course), and the friendly receptionists who helped.

I really liked it. It's always clean and cozy. They cook well. The cleanest pool. Excellent attitude towards children. There is a smoking area, tea/coffee is always available. The rooms are amazing, cozy and clean. But there were problems with the administration a couple of times when canceling the tour: they knocked on our room in the morning, woke us up, although we warned the agency that we were canceling plans due to poor health, and this was repeated for two days. We would have notified the administrator if he had been there. In general, I would come back here again and recommend the hotel to my friends and family. The little things in communication are quite solvable.
