I learned about the Ginseng clinic from Pavel Georgiev's reviews and decided to test the effects of traditional Chinese medicine on myself. I contacted the clinic in advance, even sent some tests, examinations and diagnoses, which were confirmed in Russia. But now, after a while, it became interesting if I hadn't sent the diagnoses in advance, would the doctor have identified the existing health problems or not. After arriving, I went straight to the clinic with my suitcases, for the first appointment with the doctor and for the appointment of a course of treatment. By the way, the clinic provides vehicles for traveling to and from the clinic for free. Lilya, the receptionist, met me at the entrance and escorted me to the building, where a doctor and an interpreter were already waiting. After the flight, I was tired and didn't get enough sleep, so the first doctor's appointment didn't really stick in my memory. I looked at the tongue, felt the pulse on two hands, walked along the spine and immediately wrote the planned treatment: massage, acupuncture, warming up, acupuncture, herbal infusion for 10 days of stay in Hainan and plus a 2-month course of herbs after leaving Hainan. The doctor's appointment itself took no more than 7-10 minutes and an invoice was immediately issued (about 13,000 yuan, which is about 150 thousand rubles). They said that I can decide for myself which procedures to pay for and do, and which not. I paid for everything at once, without even thinking, because after a long flight and a sleepless night, my head was in a fog and I didn't have the strength to think / analyze. In addition, I decided to test the effect of Chinese traditional procedures in Russia. On the first day, they only gave me acupuncture, and after looking at my tired and hungry state, they let me go to the hotel to rest. By the way, the first acupuncture session was free for me, i.e. a bonus. Starting from the second day, regular procedures began: massage, warming up, acupuncture. On the second day, we made a needle knife (8 pieces). I drank the herbal infusion twice a day: in the morning and in the evening after eating. Elena, a Chinese woman, did the massage and warming up, I really liked it, I recommend it! Acupuncture and needle knives are done only by a doctor, I was accompanied by Dr. Jan. The problem is, my back didn't hurt when I arrived in Hainan. Although my lower back had been badly injured a few weeks before, the pain had gone away even before I left. Therefore, it is not yet possible to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. But there is an opportunity to see the long-term effect of treatment, i.e. whether there will be exacerbations in a month/ two/ three, etc. I decided to test the effectiveness of the gastrointestinal solution: before leaving for Hainan, I took pills for the digestive tract (an exacerbation occurred a month before the trip). From the first day of treatment at the clinic, I basically stopped taking all the pills and I want to say that during my two weeks in Hainan, there were no gastrointestinal problems, despite the fact that Chinese food was unusual for the digestive tract and it was quite possible to expect an exacerbation. An interesting point: during the acupuncture session, pain in the gastrointestinal tract slowly began to appear, during the 3-4-5-6 session, the pain was increasing and I already wanted to stop this acupuncture, when suddenly, from the 7th session, the pain began to go away and did not appear. It was a strange moment, but I noticed it for myself. By the way, as soon as the needles are pulled out, after 5-10 minutes all the pain goes away. Let's look at the long-term effect. Now, after returning to Russia, I drink herbal granules, there are no problems with the digestive tract yet. There is a problem with the eyes (not visual acuity, another problem), the doctor did acupuncture specifically for this in the eyeball area, but there was no effect during the course of acupuncture and now, after 10 days, there is no effect either. The clinic staff is friendly. Lilya is like a fairy, she will meet everyone, conduct them, offer tea/ sweets after the procedures and make an appointment at a convenient time. Regarding cleanliness: This is not a TOP-level clinic in our understanding. There is no surgical cleanliness and sterility here, but they wipe with alcohol before / after acupuncture. One-time sheets for massage are placed on the couch. The floors and the toilet are clean enough. Perhaps this is the standard level of cleanliness for China. If I go to another Chinese clinic, it will be possible to compare. What was somewhat annoying: 1. The feeling of a "conveyor belt" in the clinic. The doctor's appointment takes 5-10 minutes, then one goes out, the second comes in, and so on all the time. If you arrived together, then you will also come to the reception together and the doctor will examine you in turn. 2. The doctor and the translator are talking to each other very intensely and it seems that they are raising their voices (as if they are swearing). But perhaps these are features of the Chinese language. 3. At some point, I wanted to give up the course for two months (the price is 3,600 yuan, about 40,000 rubles). The reason: a serious course of antibiotics was coming, and an arsenal of medicines for the treatment/restoration of the gastrointestinal tract, prescribed by a doctor in Russia, was already waiting at home. As soon as I said this, the doctor called me into the office the next day and, together with the translator, began to strongly convince me of the need for it. It's a pity that I don't know Chinese, it would be very interesting to find out what they were talking about so emotionally. There was a feeling that the doctor was angry, the translator was proving something to him and then translating something to me. I didn't like this situation. As a result, I purchased a course of granular herbs for two months, but asked to show me the laboratory and the preparations from which they will be made. I was surprised, but they took me to the laboratory almost immediately and showed me a really huge arsenal of herbs / roots / seeds, etc. The smell in the laboratory was concentrated herbal. The girls, the laboratory staff, smiled warmly and watched as I opened and examined the many boxes of drugs with interest. 4. Massage therapist Lev does a good massage. But during the massage, everyone is offered to do additional rubbing with herbs and put jars. Even if the doctor didn't prescribe it. It's a little weird. One such session costs 300 yuan, i.e. about 3,500 rubles. If you agree, he does. If not, then not. I tried it, just for fun. Rubbing with herbs is pleasant, the whole back warms up well, then he puts the jars and says that they need to be tolerated for 8 minutes. In fact, she removes the cans earlier, after about 5 minutes, she specifically checked. Whether there is an effect from this or not, I do not know. But my curiosity was satisfied.
