The village of Transitions, like the others, was the most ordinary. People lived in her 26 courtyards and dreamed of the future. However, this future has not come. The terrible fate of the inhabitants of the Crossings was solved on February 23, 1943, during a punitive expedition. At dawn, when people were still asleep, the Fascist punishers broke into houses, shot villagers, then set fire to houses along with residents. So 116 inhabitants of this village died: 70 adults and 46 children.
