We started exploring the beaches of Antalya from Mermerli beach. It is located in the historical center of Antalya. I find it interesting in the sense that a tourist staying in a hotel in the historical center should visit it on the first day. Nearby there are lighthouses, a marina full of moored yachts and small sightseeing ships. Like a "Black cuttlefish". This is usually an introductory day, and there may not be much time left after checking into the hotel and meeting with the guide. And this is the only beach within walking distance. There are no other options. The place is very beautiful. Rocks sticking out of the water, steep bank above the beach. A bay with yachts and a lighthouse! Beautiful! In general, this is not a beach, but a restaurant called Mermenli. Perhaps it all started with the restaurant by the sea. But now there is no restaurant. And this is a big minus. More on this below. At the entrance to the beach, you will be charged an amount equal to 500 Turkish lira per person (approximately 1000₽). Further, if there are no seats on the few deck chairs, you will be asked to wait. They'll ask for your name, write it down, and wait. There may be a few more people in front of you. As the deck chairs become available, you will be called. You go downstairs. The staff will show you the available seats. If you don't like these places, ask for others right away, and if there are no others, then take them, and then transfer to any vacated deck chairs. We've settled in. The beach can be divided into four zones. To the right of the entrance there is a bar (beer and chips) and just below it right by the water (the water is the coolest here, underwater springs cool it here). The entrance to the sea is shallow but through large rocks near the shore. And considering the surf, it's a little difficult to enter. Deck chairs are located right by the water and in the water. Those lying on these cots are doused with waves and splashes. For those who like to sunbathe (without bathing, but next to the bar) is the best place. There are also umbrellas. Then there are two small piers (these are the 2nd and 3rd zones) with stairs leading into the water. You can't jump here! Dangerous rocks below. Wooden deck and deck chairs with umbrellas. Everything is cramped. Umbrellas must not be moved. And it won't work. Everything is very tight. The 4th most interesting area is the "gorgeous floating sand-colored plastic pantone." It is located at a distance of about 150 meters from the piers. It's not difficult to swim. Along the way, there are pitfalls where you can get up and relax. But I do not recommend traveling unsteadily without auxiliary equipment! It's dangerous! All those who like to jump into the water and just relax on the pantone bobbing on the waves swim there. The stairs to it are very convenient. It's gorgeous. You can just lie down on a plastic pantone and relax (sleep) rocking on the waves. Now about the sea. The sea is clean. Probably the cleanest of all the beaches I've been to. Yachts and tour boats sail by. Cliffs, city view, clear sea, small waves. Everything is great, it seems ... but I'm lowering 1 star for a limited menu (if you come for the whole day, order from a meager menu and on the first day it's fine if the first day is on the beach, but you won't last a week on such a menu), cold water in the showers (yes, there are already beaches with warm with water in the shower), "a rocky bottom made of large stones and therefore difficult entry into the sea with waves," crowding and practically no place for babies to swim. If it wasn't for Panton, I would have shot another star. I have reviews of other beaches in Antalya in my profile.

The place is convenient, the water is warm and clean, everything is visible at depth: grains of sand, pebbles, herring. Now about the cons. In October 2025, the price of a one-time entry for 1 person is 500 lira = 1000 rubles. In 2022, the price was 70 liras. If you log out, pay again to log in. The price includes a sunbed, an umbrella, and the possibility of using a shower. A towel is not included. That much. At the same time, you can't move the umbrella, and neither can the sunbed. I paid for an umbrella, and as a result, I had to spend all the hours burning in the sun, because the shade from the umbrella fell on other sun beds. There is an umbrella, but it doesn't seem to be there. Everything is very tightly packed. The ladder to the water is broken: there is not a single step in the middle. Because of this, it's hard to get down and up. A bunch of cats that are cute, dirty and endlessly climb to lie on your things and in your arms. The sun comes out from behind the wall and starts hitting the beach around 11 a.m. Until then, everyone is sitting in their clothes and freezing, because in October the nights are already cold. The beach filled up around one o'clock in the afternoon. The majority of people start to pull up after 11. It is too expensive for the conditions that are offered. Especially considering the way umbrellas and sun beds stand.

A good paid beach in a picturesque place of the old town. Prices start from 500 lire for a sunbed and an umbrella. The VIP area is 5,000 for a bungalow for 2-3 people with a separate shower and a place to change clothes, towels, and a fruit plate, a couple of bottles of water or beer are also included. The water is clean. Overall, the impressions are positive, although the prices could certainly be lower.
