Mehnat Beshbarmak is located outside the city, it takes a long time to drive, but it's worth it.
Guests are offered a real Kazakh beshbarmak, with an abundance of meat. The dish is very tasty and incredibly satisfying. Satiation occurs very quickly, even if you do not eat anything in advance that day to keep your appetite for such a special dinner.
The amount of beshbarmak for two people can easily saturate four or five people. One serving of beshbarmak costs 85,000 soums.
Rich broth is served with beshbarmak in a beautiful wooden bowl. Broth is included in the price of the dish, but I had to remind the waitress several times to serve it to us, and only then it was brought to us. So I advise everyone who is going to go there: do not forget to remind the waiters to bring you the broth, keep in mind, it is included in the price of the dish that you paid for.
Koumiss (45,000 for 1.5 liters) is an amateur drink, I recommend ordering it only for those who are sure that their digestive system will withstand this test. In addition, the drink, although in a small dose, contains alcohol, so it is not recommended for those who are going to get behind the wheel.
Tea with lemon is brewed deliciously in Mehnat Beshbarmak #1. Often, even in restaurants of even a higher price category, they cannot brew tea with lemon so well - they either make it too sweet, or vice versa, they do not report sugar, but in Mehnat you drink tea with lemon and enjoy it.
The restaurant has several halls, we were sitting in the Astana hall.
Everything was fine, but I would like to ask the staff to make sure that in cold weather the door to the hall did not remain open, because that evening it was 14 degrees below zero outside, and because of the open door, which the visitors forgot to close behind them, the piercing cold immediately entered the room, which is why I had to get dressed and sit in my outerwear even after the front door was finally closed at my request.
At the request of customers, beshbarmak can be packed in a container so that visitors can take food with them.
And here's another important thing to say. You should definitely call this restaurant and book a table in advance, because due to the powerful advertising on social networks, this place is incredibly popular - as a result, a lot of people who came to this distance without a preliminary call have to stand outside for a long time and wait for at least one free table to be available for them.
But after you try their beshbarmak, in general, you understand why people like to come here so much - the food here is really very tasty.

The road to this place is disgusting. This is one time. Unsanitary conditions are two. After waiting in line for 40 minutes, we got a place in the basement. During the waiting time, I took a closer look at the situation. There is a long queue in a dirty toilet, a yard spattered with dirt and littered with cigarette butts, an untidy kitchen, and staff in greasy Kazakh-style robes. There is an icon at the entrance with a ban on alcohol consumption, but alcohol flows like a river. The table was waiting for cleaning for exactly thirty minutes, and only after several requests, the dirty dishes were finally removed. The utensils-bowls, spoons, forks, plates-waited for another twenty minutes. Just in order not to offend the friends who brought me here, I barely sat to the end, holding back nausea. One joy is that beshbarmak is pretty good. But not perfect, for which it would be worth trudging to this wilderness, to this diner.
