We had a rest in Midel-Gagra from 07/21/29/2025. We were VERY satisfied! The rooms are clean, the bed linen is snow-white. The rooms are carefully equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. The sea is within walking distance, WI-FI catches on the beach. The beach is clean and well maintained with umbrellas and sun beds. I would especially like to mention the work of the service staff, their kindness, conscientiousness, courtesy and responsiveness. I would like to come back again next year!!!

We decided to go on vacation, there was nothing to choose from the day before departure, we took what we had and regretted it. The photo is on the website and in fact, what turned out to be visible on my photos. There are very friendly women at the reception. The Soviet-style hotel, which is indicated on the website that famous poets rested in it, is not reflected in the hotel in any way, which is an omission on their part, history must be preserved. The rooms are very tired. There was no mirror in the room, after I asked, my husband was allowed to bring an old one from the warehouse himself, well, at least this one. The shower was running constantly, for this we were given a towel to wipe ourselves)) There is an air conditioner, but it was raining, we didn't turn it on. The view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is located behind the highway, so the smell of exhaust will always be with you and the noise of cars day and night. It is also uncomfortable to cross the road, cars are driving at breakneck speed. This is building 3, buildings 1 and 2 are located right by the sea, there are newer rooms there and there are no such problems. They gave out 3 gels and 2 soaps in the room for 6 days, it's definitely not enough, and it's expensive to buy in Abkhazia, it's better to take a travel kit with you. The dining room is located in the same building, the choice is very meager, the second was brought individually, for comparison, in the Land of the Soul, although there were queues, but the choice was wider and tastier (someone liked the food, they put about three families at the table and people shared their opinions, but I cook tastier, my husband ate and freaked out). 90% of pensioners live in the hotel, there is a plus in this, it will be quiet)), but there will be no one to talk to, or only about sores and pensions)) There is no kettle in the rooms, it is on the floor and everyone uses it alternately, there is also one iron on the floor, also in terrible condition (burnt and the handle burst). Across the street is the cafe of the Teahouse hotel, a wonderful place with a view of the sea, delicious cuisine and excellent prices, they constantly ate and drank there, in the evenings they sing local soulful songs and people dance. I don't know if I'll ever go back to the hotel for that money.

A good place to relax. The room was renovated, and I liked the fact that the room was cleaned every day. The food was delicious and the menu changed every day, not just a buffet, but there was plenty to choose from. The staff is friendly or neutral. The price of accommodation is the main advantage of this place, all minor disadvantages become irrelevant.
