The Soviet-style hotel, which is indicated on the website that famous poets rested in it, is not reflected in the hotel in any way, which is an omission on their part, history must be preserved. The rooms are very tired. There was no mirror in the room, after I asked, my husband was allowed to bring the old one from the warehouse himself, well, at least this one. The shower was running constantly, for this we were given a towel to wipe ourselves)) There is an air conditioner, but it was raining, we didn't turn it on. The view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is located behind the highway, so the smell of exhaust will always be with you and the noise of cars day and night. It's also uncomfortable to cross the road, cars are driving at breakneck speed. This is building 3, buildings 1 and 2 are located right by the sea, there are newer rooms there and there are no such problems. They gave out 3 gels and 2 soaps in the room for 6 days, it's definitely not enough, and it's expensive to buy in Abkhazia, it's better to take a travel kit with you. The dining room is located in the same building, the choice is very meager, the second was brought individually, for comparison, in other hotels, although there were queues, but the choice was wider and tastier (someone liked the food, they put about three families at the table and people shared their opinions, but I cook tastier, my husband ate and freaked out). 90% of pensioners live in the hotel, there is a plus in this, it will be quiet)), although there will be no one to talk to, or only about sores and pensions)) There is no kettle in the rooms, it is on the floor and everyone uses it alternately, there is also one iron on the floor, also in terrible condition (burnt and the handle burst). Across the street is the cafe of the Teahouse hotel, a wonderful place with a view of the sea, delicious cuisine and excellent prices, they always ate there, in the evenings they sing local soulful songs and people dance. I don't know if I'll ever go back to the hotel for that money.

We rested at the Midel-Gagra recreation center in October 24, we took a standard room in the second building with a balcony (204). We went to the sea and were happy. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the sea. The building stands right on the beach, it is a fantastic sight of sunset, sea, air, side view of the mountains. Class. The room has a good, fresh renovation, everything you need is there, the bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, nothing flows anywhere, everything works stably. The building is clean, quiet, and you can sit on sofas in the lobby. The territory is green with alleys and benches, clean, clean. There is a teahouse nearby, you can sit in the evening, wine, music, barbecue, fish on coals and all sorts of Abkhazian delicacies, but we also had enough of the dining room to have fun. The holiday home offers 3 meals a day with elements of a buffet, we really liked everything. The food is delicious at home. A well-chosen menu. And fish and meat and chicken and salads, fruits, wine. The waiters are responsive and sincere people. Thanks to them and the chefs very much, just well done. No one had any intestinal diseases, poisoning, etc. We will definitely come next year. Thanks to all the staff for their responsiveness, hospitality and cordiality. Everything was great! We needed the sea and the good weather, we got it, plus a homely and delicious atmosphere and food. Who is interested in Wi-Fi is not always stable, but I found a place on the balcony and watched a movie in the evenings. The beach is wide, clean, there were enough umbrellas and sun beds for everyone, the entrance to the sea is convenient.

I really liked everything!We had a rest from May 17 to May 24, 2025, in the 1st building, 1-storey by the sea,euro-building,renovated, cozy room, large balcony, like a separate room,it's very convenient!The room has high ceilings, excellent sound insulation, despite the nearby road, I thought it would be noisy, but no!Even, late one evening there was a heavy downpour, a storm, but we couldn't hear it until we went out on the balcony!Two steps out of the room and you're in a beautiful garden where birds are singing!The beach is wide and large, there is enough space for everyone, even in the high season, the sun beds are free.The cafe on the beach, overlooking the sea, is atmospheric,the food is delicious, the portions are large, the price is cheaper than in our city, surprised!The dining room is across the street in another building, delicious, homey, courteous staff!All the rooms in our building were occupied, and the other two also had quite a few vacationers, and this is an indicator of the quality of services!We enjoyed everything very much, we want to come back again!🫶
