A chic hotel near the lake is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel itself is clean, the breakfasts are varied and there is a lot of choice, the staff is pleasant and even speaks English, which is not often found in China. There is a pedestrian street nearby, where there is a market and many shops and cafes.

It's a beautiful place! Like in Chinese painting, everything is in a hazy haze. It's just stuffy for Northerners.
