I went to the checkout to pay for the goods, and there was one customer in front of me. After I laid out my goods, I went to put down the basket and noticed a laundry detergent, which I decided to add to my shopping list. By the time I returned, the cashier was still serving another customer, and to my surprise, he hadn't checked my items or noticed that they were already at the checkout. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation, the cashier replied that she was not obligated to monitor what was happening at her workplace. I consider this unacceptable because, as an employee of the store, she must control the service process and the moments when customers queue up. The question arises: why should I spend my time and energy clarifying the relationship and explaining the obvious? My situation requires a more attentive and professional approach to customer service. I hope that you will take measures to improve the organization of work at the checkout so that such incidents do not happen again in the future.
