During our sightseeing tour of the city, we stopped here. We noticed that candles are sold on-site, but the price is quite high (200,000 dong for two). A good tip is to buy your candles at a local market before coming to save money.

The Big White Buddha is a must-visit place in Nha Trang! The pagoda is located on a hill with stunning views of the northern part of the city. From a height, you can see picturesque landscapes that fascinate and leave unforgettable impressions. The energy of this place is felt immediately. The atmosphere here is calm and peaceful, which makes the visit especially pleasant. During the daytime, you can freely go inside the Buddha statue, where the temple is located. There you will be able to learn the history of this place and plunge into the atmosphere of spirituality. Don't forget to bring candles or incense with you - there is a special place where you can light them and honor their memory. Climbing the 144 steps to the top of the hill is not only a physical activity, but also an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views and feel at one with nature. Along the way, you will see the bell tower, which is beautifully illuminated by red lanterns in the evening. This sight adds color and makes the visit even more memorable. Special attention should be paid to the animals that live on the territory of the pagoda. They look like squirrels or chipmunks and move very quickly through trees and wires. Watching their games and activities is a real pleasure. In general, visiting the Big White Buddha is an unforgettable experience that will leave a lot of positive emotions and impressions. This is a place where you can relax, enjoy nature and learn something new about the culture and traditions of Vietnam.

It's worth a visit, but without fanaticism. To be honest, "wow" didn't happen. The main thing that catches your eye is the ubiquitous dirt and debris. And be prepared for a whole army of beggars who will literally follow you around, begging for an "offering to the Buddha" – and this despite the fact that admission is completely free!

I went to the Pagoda alone without an excursion. I bought candles there and made a wish from the sleeping Buddha, they told me how to do it. I have passed all the steps (they say that karma will be cleansed). I recommend you to visit an interesting place.

A place with its own vibe, with few disadvantages of shade, and it's not easy to climb so many steps in the sun. It is better to take water with you.

Anyone who has visited different Buddhist places of worship will agree with me that all temples, khuruli, datsans, stupas, etc. are similar. However, each place has its own architectural, landscape and simply a wide variety of other features. It's here too, I'll try to formulate it. First of all, the gate, which reminded Parisian Notre Dame with its gargoyles, only here on the contrary - dragons. Seriously, the gates are solid, patterned, and beautiful.. There are many lawns and flowerpots on the territory (rhyme), statues, vases, various architectural and landscape decorations, trees, flowers.. In general, the beauty and riot of greenery. I liked the rather large (7-meter) white statue of the Buddhist monk Bodhisattva Thit Quang Duc, who gave his life for the faith. In protest against the unlimited conversion of Buddhists to Catholicism, a monk burned himself to death in South Vietnamese Saigon in 1963. The monument to the monk was erected here in 2004, by the way, it is granite. I photographed the monument, because that's what I like to photograph.. If you go further and start climbing the stairs, you will reach a reclining concrete white Buddha with swastikas on his heels (Buddhist swastikas are a symbol of the sun). The Buddha is lying on his side, stretched out to his full 17-meter height. The temple complex is decorated with a bright and beautiful pagoda built in 1886 (with numerous subsequent changes, of course) with outbuildings, colorful halls, altars and sculptures. I was most impressed by the multi-armed goddess Avalokiteshvara (here, as I understood it, it is the female manifestation characteristic of the Vietnamese pantheon), the Lord graciously looking at beings, the Mahayana Buddha, the Buddha of compassion, born from the light of the eyes of the Buddha of infinite light Amitabha. I stood at the altar for a long time, looking at it.. I really liked this temple complex, it's a good one.. I bought a small stone Buddha in a souvenir shop there.

A very beautiful and atmospheric place! The Long Son Pagoda in Nha Trang pleasantly surprised me — it is quiet, clean, green, and at the same time you can feel the history and special Vietnamese flavor. A great place for a leisurely stroll, especially if you want to get away from the bustling city. The architecture is interesting and traditional— with many decorative elements, sculptures, and carvings. Everything is well maintained and tidy. There are many shady trees and benches where you can relax. There are about 150 steps leading to the top, but it's not difficult to climb. There are beautiful views along the way, and there is a huge white Buddha statue at the top, visible from afar. The magnificent panorama of Nha Trang opens from there — just a delight! 📸 Tips: — It is better to come in the morning or in the late afternoon — it is not so hot. — Take water and a hat. — Clothes should be modest (covered shoulders and knees), this is a tourist, but still a place of worship. — Admission is free, but you can leave a donation (optional). In general, it is a very worthy place to visit! Ideal for a photo walk, relaxing from the hustle and bustle and exploring Vietnamese architecture. I recommend it for visiting with the whole family or alone — calm, beautiful and memorable for a long time!

The White Buddha is located in the city center, visible from many hotels. You can get there on your own, we rode a bike. Parking is paid, about 20 thousand dong. The pagoda itself was closed, repairs were underway, and the ascent to the Buddha was free. There's also a reclining Buddha, don't miss it.

The monastery is a 30-40-minute walk from Nha Trang city center. My wife and I, for example, were able to get here from the DTX hotel. Our way lay through the Catholic church. A staircase leads to the Buddha statue. But this is not just a staircase, but something special: a Buddha lies in the middle of it, and a big Buddha sits at the top. This place is perfect for taking beautiful photos and buying souvenirs. For example, we have acquired excellent aromatic pyramids. Admission to the monastery is free.

A great place for tourists! It's still free to enter, not very equipped, there's a lot of trash around, and the entire road to this landmark is covered in mud and debris. The statue itself is majestic, with beautiful views of the city, and the status of an active temple. One of the attractions of Nha Trang

It's beautiful at sunset and there are fewer people. The dress code must be observed: open knees and hands are prohibited. If you want to go inside, you will need to take off your shoes as standard. The rise is not high. The reclining Buddha impresses with its scale. Admission is free. Long Shong closes early: around 17:30, everyone is already winding down

It was brought during a sightseeing tour. Entrance to the temple grounds and to the Buddha is free (free of charge). The entrance to the temple itself was fenced off, but it is allegedly said that it is usually open. There is also a reclining Buddha on the territory, where you can make a wish by scratching your elbow or heel (or both). There is a statue of a sitting Buddha at the top. It offers a view of the city, not the best of course, but still. There are a lot of merchants on the territory of the temple who pester with various unnecessary trifles

The impression of visiting the White Buddha was slightly spoiled by pesky women who imposed incense sticks, and then aggressively demanded money for them. Russian tourists who do not know the basics of Buddhism, be vigilant.

You can get there either by taxi or by bike. Packing is paid. The place is very pleasant, but the atmosphere is often disrupted by tourist groups. There is a large white Buddha on the territory of the monastery, in honor of the monks who gave their lives for the faith. There is a big sleeping Buddha. Beware of those who will offer you chopsticks - they cost a lot of money.

The place where they take you on a sightseeing tour. In general, it is also available for independent visits. Interestingly, like many similar complexes, the reclining Buddha is especially impressive. Admission is free. I didn't like it: there are a lot of beggars and guys who try to stuff something into you and then ask for money. So, the girl, smiling sweetly, gave me three sticks of incense to put near the Buddha, and then said that I owed 100t dong))

An interesting and beautiful view! Visit and you won't regret it. The only thing is, if you come as a tourist with bare knees and elbows, you will be asked to cover them up. You can buy a long handkerchief (100-130k) on the spot or take it with you.
