When I first came to the loop bridge in Borjomi, it seemed to me like something out of a dream. Light, almost airy, it bends over the stormy Borjomula River like a white ribbon frozen in motion. There are mountains, pines, the sound of water, the smell of wet stone all around — and suddenly, in the midst of this living chaos, an ideal shape appears, calm and precise. The bridge was built recently, when Borjomi began to renovate and improve the park. It has become something of a calling card — a symbol of how modernity can fit into an old resort. When you walk along the loop, you can hear the echo of footsteps under your feet, the river is rustling somewhere below, and on the other side there is a view of the valley. It feels like you're stepping out of time for a moment. There is an old classic—style hotel nearby. Stone walls, balconies with wrought-iron railings, carved shutters. Inside there is the smell of wood, a little old wine and warmth. It's quiet there, a bit European, but with a Georgian soul. It seems that if you listen closely, you can catch the rustle of dresses and the voices of guests from the beginning of the last century. I stayed there for one night, just because I didn't want to leave. In the morning, from the window, you can see how the fog clings to the mountains, how the sun gently falls on the bridge, and everything around seems to breathe. This corner of Borjomi has something special: the bridge, the hotel, the park — everything works in unison, creating a sense of peace, which is often lacking in the city.
