I liked everything about the Brest Fortress. I want to come back here. My husband and I walked for 6 hours. We bought souvenirs for our loved ones. You know, when you look at the past, you see a battle, machine gun holes on the walls, and new windows and metal doors. Everything gets distorted and spoils the view. There are no ruins of the old church.

Valor, courage and self-sacrifice. We were very impressed. There was a feeling that those who died there were somewhere nearby. And we adults behaved so quietly, as if we were afraid to break this silence and peace. We saw the children's honor guard. The State teaches children to remember and honor the memory of the departed military and civilians. We managed to visit the memorial quickly, because we didn't have time. We want to visit here again and with a guide.

It's a very monumental place, I was driving all the way from Sevastopol. The experience is just great. Everything is clean and well maintained. The only thing I didn't really like was the guide. Bland and uninteresting, learned by heart. Even I knew more and supplemented the information to my daughter. In general, it is very remarkable that the memory of such places and events is preserved.
