The restaurant is located in the building of the Novotel hotel, on the roof and is included in the Michelin guide: prices and service correspond. I found it in a selection of the best restaurants in Istanbul and booked it day-to-day without any problems: the only drawback was that there were no tables directly at the window, apparently, such an option still needed to be planned in advance.
The view of Sultanahmet district, Topkapi Palace and the Bosphorus Strait is stunning (by the way, much better than Pierre Loti Hill with cemetery).
Before dinner, you can stroll along the Galata Port, visit the Museum of Modern Art or go shopping there. Be careful that you cannot go directly from the embankment to the restaurant: you need to walk to the nearest exit near the museum.
The service in the restaurant is amazing: Turks can do it, of course. The waiter literally fluttered around us: he handed out Wi-Fi to a friend so that she could safely Google what was on the menu on the Internet; he brought compliments several times (in addition to the standard bread and butter - hummus with meat and bread, cocktails).
Food: we are almost full of compliments😀But I still took a fish (bonito is a mackerel fish: tender, boneless) and a glass of wine (on this trip I got to know Turkish wines: surprisingly, almost all positions on solid are good). The wine list contains an incredible number of items.
Next to the restaurant there is a separate bar room with high bar tables and chairs, which is simply enclosed by glass.
I noticed that there are a lot of locals among the visitors: families come for dinner, it's fun to observe a different culture.
The interior of the restaurant is minimalistic, with dimmed lights, and pleasant. The kitchen is open with an incredibly beautiful green oven.
I found only one negative, which can be safely extended with one minus to all local restaurants.: there is no wardrobe or even hangers. Sitting with a couch in my arms (and it was very cold that day) is such a pleasure: I really miss at least a couple of hangers for the winter. I'm not taking a star off for this, since it's a single concept in the whole city.
The restaurant definitely deserves attention and a visit.

One of the favorite places in Istanbul for dinner during the warm season:
- the restaurant's veranda is definitely worth coming here, it offers a beautiful view, and if you come to dinner when there is no scorching sun, you will not want to leave here :)
- pleasant music, comfortable seating (although behind bar stools), wonderful atmosphere
- the staff is pleasant, polite, speaks English well
- the menu is small but interesting with an emphasis on fish and seafood, there are various snacks, salads, hot dishes and desserts
- food - portions are good, interesting combinations. I especially liked the salad with zucchini and seeds, a seafood dish for two, chicken (yes, it may seem strange, but it really is perfectly cooked here!). The fish is delicious, but quite standard. In general, everything is fine with food, not great, but you need to remember that this is not Moscow :)
- it is better to book seats on the veranda in advance to sit there

Many thanks to Murver Restaurant in Istanbul for an unforgettable evening!
I booked a table in advance through the website, and within a day I received confirmation — everything went smoothly and without any difficulties. Already at the entrance, we were greeted with warmth and attention, which immediately set the tone for the evening.
The interior of the restaurant is simply amazing! Modern, stylish, but cozy at the same time. And the view of the Bosphorus... This is something! We were sitting by the window, and the sunset over the strait became the perfect backdrop for our dinner.
Top—level service - 10/10! The staff was attentive but unobtrusive. Special thanks for patiently photographing us from all angles (and not just once, but 400 times, as we love)! Now we have amazing memories in the frame.
Now about the most important thing — about food. We started with baked pears with cheese — it was delicious and unusual. Octopus salad has become my favorite: tender, with a perfect balance of flavors. And a square of lamb... It's just a masterpiece! The meat was so tender that it melted in your mouth, and the lentil risotto and sauce added depth to the dish. By the way, we got a portion of quads for one, although the menu says it's for two, which is a pleasant surprise!
Murver Restaurant is not just a place where you can have a delicious meal. It's a real gastronomic experience where you discover new combinations, textures and emotions.
The prices, of course, are not low, but also not exorbitant for an institution of this level. Our dinner with two cocktails cost 15,000 rubles, and I think it's fully justified. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere are worth every penny.
There is also a nice bonus for smoking guests — you can smoke in a separate bar behind a glass partition, which adds comfort, there is no smell of cigarettes in the main hall.
In general, if you are in Istanbul and want to spend an unforgettable evening with amazing food, views of the Bosphorus and impeccable service, Murver Restaurant is a must-visit. We left in complete delight and will definitely come back again! Thank you for a perfect evening! 🌟
