I've visited more than 35 countries around the world, and believe me, I've seen a lot. But I've never seen anything like it in the Mussi restaurant! 136 types of jam! It seems to me that they know how to make jam from literally everything you can imagine. There is a huge variety of flavors, and each one is a small discovery. Delicious food: tender eggplant, juicy tomatoes, cheeses of all varieties, excellent homemade wine and even fragrant moonshine. Everything is served beautifully, generously and with soul. The service is beyond praise: fast, clear, caring. And special thanks to our waiter Roman. Roma is the decoration of the evening! A person who sincerely loves his job, works with his heart and gives real care to the guests. Guys, I recommend it to everyone! Baku will always remain in my heart, and the Mussi restaurant will remain in my memory as the place where I first tasted a plate with more than twenty types of jam at once. There is no such thing in any country! We will definitely come back.

If there were two times, there would have been more, but time did not allow. We haven't tried to eat, as if the place isn't exactly about that, and in principle everything hints at it - including what's on the tables of the locals. We took tea and jam. Various. Absolutely positive impressions about tea, and about jam (jam was recommended to us every time by the guys who work there) and about the atmosphere with playing music. Our entire repertoire was of Azerbaijani retro music... no one dares to turn on murka. The staff is friendly and a bit homey, but friendly. But in this case, it's a plus and very organic. The bill is exactly what you took. It's the same both times. The prices are not the most budget-friendly, but you can see it in the menu. If it's expensive, you can go somewhere else, although I can't say that it's much more expensive here than in other places in the tourist center. But the atmosphere, the jam, the smell of a burning samovar, the music and the nice guys are all worth it.

We didn't read the reviews either, and we shouldn't have! They cheat in this place. They smile, talk sweetly to the kids, and lie to your face! They didn't have time to sit down, they immediately began to impose tea with jam, they asked for it without, but they said the jam goes to tea, they asked for the menu, ‘why do you need a menu, I'll bring you everything,’ they finally asked for the menu. They brought an invoice on a piece of paper with a huge incomprehensible amount, they began to sort it out, asked for a check, brought it (he recalculated it for 30 minutes, probably adjusted it, thought of what to put in), as a result, he made a mistake for 3 manats, he admitted it himself, + he wrote red water on the check, which is on every table, it turned out to be paid, although they did not use it, the jam that went with the tea (it is not on the menu) costs 15 monats, the tea itself also does not match the price from the menu, plus 10% service. This can ruin the impression of a beautiful city. Shame on such an institution in the old town.
