A good museum, a large exposition, and a free audio guide. It is interesting to consider a wide variety of objects of manual labor, in addition there is an exposition with unusual national musical instruments.

The museum building itself deserves special attention. The exhibits on display date back to the middle to the end of the 20th century. It is surprising that the masters of the 21st century are not represented, if we assume that the museum represents modern applied art. It is also strange that the works, miniatures of 2000 are signed "author unknown".
I would argue with art historians about the available additions made to complement the missing exhibits. Sometimes I wanted to exclaim - why did you stick this here?
But the building is beautiful :)

We were at the national dance party last week. Like it. Dancers and teachers are masters of their craft. We learned a lot about the history of Uzbek dance! There were quizzes and contests.

The place is interesting, you can visit it once.
At the same time, it should be borne in mind that there are no real historical artifacts here. Most of the exhibits are from the Soviet period.

You can go, the museum is small, we were without a tour, but I think it's not much better with it. Just to put a check mark that you can go there, the entrance is inexpensive, but do not count on spending a few hours in our art or local lore

Very beautiful suzans. Admires the work of embroiderers. The old doors aroused interest. For the first time I found out how they locked themselves. It's a pity that one hall was closed. Therefore, only 4 stars.

The museum is small, there is a shop with dishes, clothes and other souvenirs at the museum. I don't remember the prices well, then I took all the gifts at the Chorsu market. In the museum you can see carpets and a loom, fabrics, clothes, household items, furniture, musical instruments. Inside there is a beautiful courtyard and a huge oak tree planted in 1880. It's worth a visit)

The museum is curious. Entrance tickets are not expensive. It's a pity that you can't touch the fabric. I hope the number of exhibits will increase. There is enough space for this.

A small but very picturesque museum. The collection is more than modest, for such a rich culture and history. Nevertheless, some of the exhibits and interiors deserve attention, if you don't expect much, have fun

A minus star for the fact that only one guide works, so we were offered to wait about 1 hour until he was free after conducting the tour to people who came earlier 😁
I had to take an audio guide.

In my opinion, this museum is worth a visit to begin to understand a little about the symbolism of the patterns of various handicrafts of Uzbekistan, as well as how these crafts originated.
There is a QR code at the entrance to the museum where you will get free access to the audio guide to the museum.

I really liked the museum! Such beautiful exhibits! What embroidery! I'm thrilled! Even my husband liked it. The place itself is very emotional. I read in the reviews earlier that it is necessary to take a guide, and we did so. Moreover, the price is very affordable. And we are very glad, because without an escort we would not have learned a lot of subtleties and details. I want more!
