A good exposition, a good excursion to learn about the life of the Russian navigator Georgy Yakovlevich Sedov, it is quite worthy for a small village, thanks to local enthusiasts.

Sedov Museum. Researcher, discoverer. The man is a hero, a legend, brave, brilliant. His fate is dramatic. He died on an expedition to the North Pole.
There is one large hall in the museum. The ticket is 100 rubles. The guide is 300. The tour lasts about an hour. I highly recommend taking a guide.
The museum is interesting, a huge number of photos, archival documents, household items, unusual interior design, paintings, human figures, ships.
The hour of the tour flew by unnoticed. Sedov's life is full of extraordinary events. The guide tells with knowledge and with a soul.
The museum building needs renovation. There is no funding. Everything is based on the enthusiasm of ordinary people. It's incredible how they managed to create and maintain the exhibition at such a high level! I wish the museum prosperity.

There is not much place to go to Sedovo to have cultural entertainment. However, the Sedov Museum became the place to which we decided to dedicate one of the evenings on vacation. The cost of tickets is low. (Whether it's 20 rubles, or 50- I don't remember exactly). We were given an excursion for a separate surcharge, the guide enthusiastically told us about the hard fate and adventures of the researcher, his thirst for new things and knowledge. It was interesting. The museum has many exhibits from the everyday life of the past years, as well as Sedov's personal belongings, his notes, photos, installations related to the exploration of the northern lands. All of the above applies to the exhibits on the 2nd floor of the museum. On the ground floor there are 2 more separate exhibitions: furniture and everyday life of the 19th century and stuffed animals of all sorts of interesting marine "inhabitants" (I attach photos). As for the renovation and the general interior of the museum: after the summer heat, it is so pleasant to enter a cool, air-conditioned room, the interior of the Soviet era. The staff is polite.
In general, go - you will not regret it. It's so nice to expand your horizons for a mere penny.

A good, kind place. There are really not many exhibits, but it's worth going with children on vacation in this small Azov village. I recommend

Well, first of all, this is not Mariupol, as it is written here, but Donetsk region, Sedovo village, Sedova str., 1. Well, this is a very interesting and informative place. The entrance is inexpensive, there are excursions if desired, we went and looked at it ourselves, a very interesting place

During the summer of 2020, Sedovo was visited 5 times and all 5 times the museum was closed during the day.The facade is dilapidated from all sides.Inside the museum (looking through the glass) there is no life activity of a cultural place. The paving slabs around the museum are crooked. And the presence of the museum itself in a small resort village is a good thing!
