The Kamoliddin Behzad Museum of Oriental Miniatures is a true cultural masterpiece and a unique space where the history of the East comes to life. The exposition impresses with the grace, subtlety of execution and deep symbolism of each miniature. Here you feel an incredible respect for the traditions, art and heritage of great masters. Special thanks to the museum staff for their careful attitude to the exhibits and for the warm welcome. The atmosphere of tranquility, beauty and inspiration accompanies you at every step. This place is definitely worth a visit for anyone interested in art, history and Oriental culture. A real gem!

A wonderful museum! Like a magic box, it is a small two-storey building with an exposition entirely devoted to the ancient art of miniatures, from amazing ornaments to historical subjects, from handwritten books to stylized text images. The only museum of this kind in the world. Extremely friendly attitude towards visitors. Special thanks to the museum curator Inna, who told us a lot of interesting things about the exhibits - just because she saw our interest. More importantly, the museum exhibits works by both ancient and modern masters, confirming the continuity in preserving cultural traditions and attention from the state. I will definitely recommend friends and acquaintances to visit this historical landmark of hospitable Tashkent.

The museum has two floors. The first was a temporary exhibition of modern book illustrations (for the works of Navoi and others). On the second floor there is a permanent exhibition. Half of the hall contains reproductions of ancient Muslim prints from museums in Istanbul and Paris. The other half are originals of modern miniatures of excellent quality. Handwritten books and painted lacquer boxes are also on display. I was the only customer, there were no people. Admission is 30 thousand for foreigners. There is no heating in the museum, it is cold.

They don't work on Sunday. Sadly. The schedule is not specified. We wasted our time. They said they work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Sundays.

Everything about traveling in Uzbekistan is a separate topic..history requires attention and study., superficial judgments are unacceptable.. If you are interested in the region that you have visited or are going to visit, then prepare yourself, look for information and I can say with confidence that you will learn a lot more on the spot...

Interesting. Although most of the works are by modern miniaturists.

It's a very, very sad sight. Some of the paintings are not paintings at all, but printed posters. Half-empty shelves. Wherever there are dates on the exhibits – the 2000s. It's not interesting
