Unfortunately, the excursion to Khatyn disappointed me very much. I'll start with a good one. Huge Parking, toilets, cafes, attentive and cute girls in the administration, the museum is elegantly decorated, the huge territory of the complex makes an impression, but that's it. You will not find the phone number and opening hours of the museum on the Internet, the complex is open from 10 to 17, Monday is a day off - a friend who was there a week earlier sent me. The administration said that there are no available guides, but we can join the bus. Since there were many of us who wanted to join, we were given a guide. That's the end of the positive emotions!!! A young man, his name was Peter, conducted a tour of the museum without arousing any feelings other than indignation at the distortion of historical facts! After leaving the museum, I had to explain to the child that the land in Belarus was liberated from fascists by 1, 2.3 Belarusian Front and 1 Baltic Front with the help of Belarusian partisans, and not Belarusians themselves, heroically liberated their land from fascist invaders. On the street, on the territory of the complex, another surprise was waiting, Belarusians, it turns out, have won their independence!!!! I did not receive it due to the collapse of the USSR in 1991, but they won it!!! Well, he was finally finished off by saying that he CURSES those who only see the numbers stamped on the wall!!!! Very professional!!! It is a pity that so many non-professional guides work in such a place, it would be wonderful if Peter was explained that the name of the front was given in the direction, and not by the nationality of the fighters, and it would also be good to tighten up the modern history. I hope you have better luck with the guide.

The renovated museum. I went with my family. It is very informative and interesting, especially for the younger generation. The price is acceptable. It is better to have a guide. The time for everything is 2 hours maximum. There are clean toilets. There is a place to eat and buy souvenirs. I recommend.

A museum to visit and bring the children. The story is known. But it must be remembered. I recommend taking a guided tour. But! A lot depends on him. I've been there twice in two years. The first time, I was very lucky to have a guide. Goosebumps. The second one was probably an intern. I know and tell it better myself. Nevertheless, I recommend taking a guided tour. Go first through the territory with the story, then to the museum inside.

We were very lucky, Sofia gave us a tour of the museum, many thanks to her! The guide is from God, despite his youth. He passes through everything he talks about, has knowledge, and has great charisma. From the very first minutes, she touched my soul with her story, and I cried from beginning to end. A magnificent museum where everyone needs to visit. A heartbreaking memorial complex... Thank you for your work!

Very cool! Belarusians are great! When visiting Khatyn, be sure to take an excursion!!! You won't regret it! For children, this is generally a class in terms of patriotic education! And after the tour, walk around quietly and take pictures. A good and inexpensive souvenir shop.

I recently visited this museum, it struck me with its modernity and design. The museum's expositions are made at a high level, and the decoration of the halls is admirable.
I would especially like to note that the museum is similar to the museum near the temple of the Russian Armed Forces in Kubinka. Both museums are distinguished by a modern approach to the design of exhibitions and the use of the latest technologies. This makes visiting museums an unforgettable experience.
I recommend everyone to visit this museum. It leaves an unforgettable impression, especially at the end.

A gorgeous museum. I advise everyone to visit. Just walking through the museum without a guide is a waste of time. Our guide, Elizabeth, told us everything very interestingly. Everything in the museum is interactive. You plunge into those events, your skin crawls.

If you haven't been here yet, then it's definitely worth a visit. The territory of the memorial is huge. I have long dreamed of visiting this place, paying tribute to the memory of my ancestors. It's heartbreaking, I will definitely bring my family here. I recommend it for a visit.

We visited this iconic place. But the organization of the tour is very weak. The tour guide girl told practically nothing, only turned on interactive screens. A separate story about the tour on the street. There are no ads anywhere that this is an additional service and you still have to pay extra for it. It was very strange. The tour guide said goodbye to us and no ads, and then we saw her on the street and asked how so? Only then did she explain something to us.

It is a very emotionally strong place, first I advise you to visit the museum, there are excellent guides who will tell you a lot about the history of Khatyn, the history of the monument "Unconquered", about concentration camps on the territory of Belarus ... what you see there makes your chest ache…

Oh, a place of tears! Now the complex has been transformed, landscaping works are constantly underway, it is clear that the complex is of a national scale! A small church was built. There are a lot of excursions, including foreign ones! A landmark place in Belarus.

One of the best and most influential museums on the theme of WWII right now. The new museum space, opened in 2023, was pleasantly shocking - you can live the Khatyn tragedy in it on your own skin.
I advise you to visit.

It's impressive. Beautiful, well-groomed territory, you can walk for free, only the museum is paid. We walked through the territory of the former village, we were early in the morning, there were no visitors except us, buses began to arrive at 10 o'clock. Thank you for leaving such places, what happened during the war years cannot be forgotten and forgiven.

It's not far to go from Minsk. It takes 25-30 minutes by car. The museum itself is somewhat off the highway, but the road is good.
There is order and cleanliness everywhere, I really liked it.
There are a lot of visitors, but it doesn't bother me somehow. We listened to the guide, then walked around the museum by ourselves.
An atmospheric place. Very strong impressions.

From the first to the last minute, there is a lump in my throat...
an amazing place!! Everything seems simple, symbolic, but you look, read and understand the full scale of the tragedy, all the pain that permeates every piece of land, the age-old sorrow still in the air....Each stroke of the bells penetrates to the bones, as if from a terrible frost...It's impossible to forget! I highly recommend you to visit!
I was also impressed by the work of the staff of the complex, who put every centimeter in order almost manually, carefully and carefully!
My rating of 5 stars is clearly underestimated! It's a pity you can't put a higher one!

There is no audio guide in the museum. Therefore, if you decide to visit the museum, book a guide. We wish some guides who conduct tours of the complex to speak louder. You have to listen, you can't hear a lot. Therefore, the impression is blurred.
