I really liked the museum. An example of a rich merchant's house at the end of the 19th century. I also took a tour with a local guide, right at the museum, she showed me everything and told me. I recommend. It will not be so interesting and understandable without a guide. I highly recommend the museum

They were politely welcomed and conducted with an interesting story about the interiors of this rich house. Thanks! The human figure is ambiguous, delve into the history and details.

We were with my husband in the summer of 2024, we decided to see this place.Earlier, of course, the territory was large, both male and female, but now there is a piece left for the museum. It is very interesting and informative.

A good museum that tells about the life of a rich stratum of the population, or rather one of the richest merchants. It's a pity there's no guide at the museum. So take your own. It wouldn't hurt to make some descriptions of the rooms: which room was responsible for what. Unfortunately, the signatures to the exhibits are mostly in Uzbek and English.

I didn't like it, the museum doesn't seem to be interested in visitors. The exposition is poorly organized, there is no history, no sensible description. There are no excursions either, they don't tell you anything. The ticket price is not indicated anywhere. I paid 35,000 sums at the entrance, they didn't give me a ticket or a receipt. And it was not possible to see everything, since the territory was photographed in three places at once, in national costumes. Because of this, I had to wait to get into the room, and I couldn't get into some of them, because the shooters defiantly slammed the door in my face, the visitor was clearly in their way. That is, the ticket was sold to me, the service was partially rendered. Poor organization, unfriendly approach.

An unexpectedly good museum, and this is a rarity in Uzbekistan. We visited it with great pleasure. I have photos and videos from the museum in my TV show channel, and a link in my profile name.

A great museum! It shows a traditional Bukhara rich house with cupboards, niches, painted walls and carved wooden ceilings. The interiors of the main rooms and the kitchen have been partially restored. You can go down to the basements. In the kitchen, there is interesting information about the menu of Bukharians at different times of the year, as well as about the peculiarities of shopping malls in Bukhara (where they traded). The exposition is about the repressions of the last owners of kutsai, there is not enough textual information.

There is a beautiful veranda with columns, there is not much to look at in the rooms, except for the murals on the walls. But a whole separate exhibition is dedicated to the Gulag, and the map was drawn so colorful and scary, it's an important accent of the whole museum. If the museum of Khodjaev is like this, please make an understandable story of his life: why he was repressed, on what suspicions (hint: in connection with foreign intelligence and underground Trotskyist communities), and do not fixate on something that causes only emotions, but does not give any information about the Khodzhaev case. Why is there no separate, equally emotional, exposition about how he became Chairman of the Council of People's Nazirs? In general, one-sided and boring.... (

The museum is clearly not for visitors! On Sunday morning, 4(!) teams worked here at once, conducting photo shoots in national costumes. Of course, the tourist who bought the ticket greatly interfered with them, getting into the frame. Every now and then I had to carefully step out of the room into the courtyard and hide back under the screams of the photographer: "Mister, pliz, go inside!" In the other room everything is filled with extras in suits. In the third, they are preparing to shoot again. The quad blocked the courtyard floor with a long hem of a historical dress. I'm interfering with everyone's "work". I just had to turn around and leave.

The house museum of Fayzulla Khodzhaev. A beautiful view of the interior and design is an example of the houses of Bukhara. It consists of three parts, the last one is called "Havli durun" - the courtyard. Beauty. The summer rooms are huge and rich in exhibits. The most important thing here is to see different traditions and photo shoots

Russians charge 30,000 sums for entry. I said that I was from Tashkent. I was charged 5,000 at the time. The merchant's life is shown. More signatures could have been made. It's like a photo studio here. I don't regret visiting the museum. And you can read about Khodzhaev on the Web.

A very interesting place, atmospheric. The museum is small, we were lucky to have a guide, they even dressed us up in national costumes. Of course, the museum requires restoration, but as always, culture is funded on a residual basis.

It's very beautiful there. In one of the rooms, the girls offer costumes for a photo shoot. It's very emotional and there are few people. The only thing that was missing was the story about the merchant himself and not about his son.

It's a strange place. The entrance fee is not indicated anywhere. We were verbally told 30 thousand per person, it feels like they are watching and determining by sight who to name how much. We spent 3 rooms and a kitchen and that's it. They said it was over. The employee did not really speak either Russian or English. We read the inscriptions on some of the exhibits. They did not offer to take pictures in costumes. But they actively offered to buy bracelets for $ 2 apiece. Bracelets with plastic tabs and a national pattern in the middle.

It is worth starting with the fact that the entrance ticket is not cheap - 30,000 soums. At the same time, 5 rooms are presented for inspection. A museum employee walks with you and escorts you to the next room. This is where its functions end. At the entrance, the cashier announced to us that everything is clear everywhere. In fact, there are 2 rooms with vases, a room with several photographs, and two more rooms with an exposition unrelated to this person. In the end, they did not understand who it was and why the museum was created here. The museum staff is not interested in visitors. The ticket is not worth the money paid. I do not recommend visiting.
