A unique place, I've been there many times before, and every time it's a delight. Beautiful snow-white cathedral on the banks of a beautiful river, the view is mesmerizing. A separate delight is a concert of organ music, to the point of goosebumps. I recommend it, no one will remain indifferent. And Polotsk itself is a beautiful, clean and cozy Belarusian town, there is something to see in it.

An interesting exposition of the underground part. There is an organ concert on Sundays, and the pieces are well-chosen. A pleasant impression of the visit. Stunning view of the river in front of the temple.

I liked Sofia. Interior and exterior (especially in the evening, when artificial light falls on the cathedral). I went to a half-hour organ concert, and I liked it. I would come back again, definitely with a guided tour :)

Everything is perfectly organized, starting from the exterior of the Cathedral and ending with any little thing inside. It is very interesting, the exhibits can be viewed closely, but you can not touch them). I advise you to visit for cultural education, the place will not leave you indifferent!

Good afternoon, Thanks to the entire staff of the museum for their kindness and responsiveness. The opportunity to visit the museum and get acquainted with its history. To examine the details of past building materials, to see the authentic details of the painting of the walls of the temple. A lot of work has been done to preserve the old fragments of the temple. Good luck to everyone. Good luck.

There is nothing particularly interesting and exciting inside, if you go on Sunday to listen to the organ. Outside you can walk and the views from the embankment are much more interesting

The incredibly beautiful St. Sophia Cathedral has an interesting and controversial history. I was surprised that it has not yet been transferred to the orthodox church for some reason. In Veliky Novgorod, Sofia on the territory of the Kremlin has long been transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church. Admission is paid, the ticket price is quite affordable compared to the museums of St. Petersburg. We took a personal tour, the guide was a researcher, he told us everything in detail and in detail. Amazing interiors. A holy place for Christians.

If you arrive by car from below, it's difficult to climb up with three children, I understand that you are making a ladder, it's difficult for you to make a temporary one, it's half the trouble, we climbed up, but they don't let us in, then I realized only for money, for a person of 3,$ or 10 rubles white, holy shit! It's better to go to the monastery, the cradle of Orthodoxy is there (3.5 km from the cathedral). I was very impressed.

It's a very atmospheric place. On weekends, you should definitely attend an organ music concert (it is better to specify the schedule in advance). There is a stunning view of the river

Beautifully majestic. The organ concert was impressive. Of the disadvantages, the organ is located very high and there is no screen. Only music and no visualization

If you see the inscription Romanenkova Galina Nikolaevna on the guide's badge, then consider yourself very lucky: you will enjoy not only Galina Romanovna's professionalism, but also her clean Belarusian language. You can also ask any questions you have about the interior of the cathedral and the exhibits of the museum — you will receive an exhaustive answer. And, of course, a little pinch in the soul from the opportunity to touch the ancient past of his Homeland...

The order is generally maintained. The decoration inside does not match the grandeur outside, it is shabby. It's unpleasant to approach the toilet - the smell, but cleaning inside does not have time. It's obvious that it was cleaned, but a long time ago. There are a lot of tourists, I didn't see any satisfied ones - There's nothing to admire.

The museum is located under the temple itself. The exposition is mainly focused on the exposed ancient brick pillars of the foundation and the artifacts found during their excavations. The exposition is small, but informative.

The museum and the concert hall are two in one. I've been to concerts several times - you can listen to music here forever. In addition, there are very highly qualified guides who answer any additional questions. There are many ancient rarities

A unique architectural monument, a vivid example of the transition from one time epoch to another. Amazing acoustics, thanks to which St. Sophia Cathedral can be called one of the best chamber concert halls in Europe.

The organ concert is just a miracle. It is a pity that the temple is not used for its intended purpose, but only as a concert hall and museum.

A beautiful monumental building in a picturesque location: on the plateau of a high hill at the confluence of rivers, where a spring gushes from the middle of the hill. One thing confused me - the cathedral is decorated with a Masonic symbol (the eye). I think the guides can tell you about it, but we were in a hurry.

A beautiful cathedral in the style of the Vilna Baroque. Although it was built in the 12th century according to other canons. The guide spoke in great detail about the stages of construction and reconstruction of the cathedral, about how the organ appeared. The organ music concert spoiled the impression a little, despite the New Year holidays, the repertoire was not appropriate. It's not the first time I've listened to the organ, but after this concert I didn't feel like coming back (and not only me)

The cathedral is beautiful both inside and out. The exhibits are interesting, but there are very few of them, although the price is more expensive than in the Museum of local lore, where there are more exhibits.

A magnificent structure on the banks of the Western Dvina River. The first stone structure on the territory of Belarus. The sound of an organ is something. Special attention should be paid to the basement. The whole history of the Cathedral is there.
