In my opinion, the price is too high, the cost is 13€ per adult See the amphitheater, climb higher) grabbers in the rocks. We lived in Kasha, there are a lot of similar things here within walking distance) I do not know how much it costs to travel as a tourist with Anex or other travel agency, but if it is 13 € + more, then it is a dubious pleasure. If you are a family, it is better to take a car for a day from $ 40, there are many types and places to stop. The serpentine is very beautiful. It was safe for me to move, and I felt comfortable. But I have a lot of experience traveling and renting cars. Even in Georgia, I rode as a local horseman) Yandex Navigator works fine, you can buy an eSIM tariff from MTS with only 30 days of 20Gb Internet for 1000+ small rubles) this will be quite enough

A must-visit! It is very beautiful and majestic . Myrrh city was named just the same in honor of the resin from which special aromatic oils were made in these places. It is difficult to say what they are made of now. By the way, such a beautiful amphitheater has been preserved in the former city of Mira. A whole kind of colosseum. I don't know about the photo, but in real life it's just huge. In the lower right corner, you can see sheets of iron, under which some catacombs are hidden, in which Italian archaeologists are currently excavating. By the way, there are quite a lot of Italian tourists there too. All these potholes and rooms on the hills are by no means former dwellings, they are tombs in which revered inhabitants of the World were buried. The higher the tomb, the more revered the person was. Why are they all partially broken and the walls in them are broken? Lycians were buried with gold coins, so when the Italians first invaded here, then the Arabs, they methodically looted all the tombs in a row. Until now, the exact technique of how they were made is not known, but they could not be opened, only hacked.

An ancient city in the Turkish town of Demre, a picturesque road along the way, mountains and the sea, it takes about 1.5 hours to get from Kemer. Ancient Lycia, the ancient city of the World, which is now called Demre, antiquity in everything, by the way, was part of the empire of Alexander the Great. Nearby there is a Christian shrine, the Church of St. Nicholas, which is mainly visited by tourists from different places. Rock tombs are a vivid heritage of the Lycians, a huge amphitheater, restoration and excavations are underway, history, beauty, must-visit.

A place of Christian pilgrims. Well-groomed territory , good and thoughtful restoration of the ancient temple , in terms of quality of decoration , content , European standard. The best time to visit is the winter months, when the flow of tourists is small and the pleasure of exploring and visiting this place increases many times!!!

It's good that we didn't go as part of the tour. We rented a car, toured many places for the price of one tour. And they were here. It's very interesting to watch, to walk, even to sneak behind the fences to see what's in these tomb caves. We picked up oranges, they're just on the floor, like our apples.

The view is stunning, and many different architectural elements (pieces) with faces and curly tiles are randomly located throughout the territory. But when you go up the steps and look at the surrounding expanses, you can see greenhouses there, of which there are a lot in Antalya. The guide didn't really tell us anything about antiquity. In general, of course, it was very impressive - after all, such a distant era for us.

It is a very beautiful and large amphitheater. And the tombs themselves. And that's it. There's not much to see for that price. There are plenty of parking nearby. There is a toilet. They accept either cards or lira. Dollars/Euros are not included.

Beautiful ruins. The amphitheater is impressive. The price is in euros (13), but only lira or cards are accepted. However, the greenhouses around do not evoke historical motives. Turks, of course, don't care about historical sites that don't relate to their time of ownership.

If you've been to Vardzia, don't be impressed here. 13€ for admission, the price is more than inadequate. Because from behind the gate you can see everything that you can see up close for money. And there's not much to see up close. They are not allowed inside the tombs. The theater cannot be taken away from the outside. That yes.

I'm just very impressed! Such an atmospheric place is definitely worth a visit for those who love the history of the ancient world. Lycian tombs in the rocks delight and give an atmosphere of mystery. Nearby there is a large amphitheater with a view of the city. However, the view is not particularly beautiful, since the whole city is a huge greenhouse. I have not seen so many greenhouses anywhere, it turns out that this town is one of the centers for growing fruits / vegetables.

Beautiful, interesting, but... 1. Unimportant accessibility of the exhibited 2. It is too focused on the sale of souvenirs and at the same time not related to this particular place.

The ticket price is 13 euros. There is an audio guide. I wouldn't go there in the summer, you can visit in the off-season. It is worth reading in advance what kind of place it is. It looks better from afar. It's not so impressive up close. It is clear that the Turks are in no hurry to restore something.

Admission is 20€, but payment is only in lira. It was stressful with the local currency, but there is an exchange nearby) with such a rate that you need to change 25 €. For what - it is not clear at all. A Christian pilgrimage site?! I looked from the side and found no reason to pay, so I left... Oh, and the entrance - I got lost a couple of times before I got there.

Famous famous buildings of the architecture of the past. The theater is amazing in size, the audibility in the stone structure is simply amazing. The safety and originality of the tombs are impressive. Work is underway to restore these historical monuments. An ancient church with a preserved image of saints was found and excavated nearby. It's an amazing place.

A very interesting place, I was very impressed, as if I had been in a historical film, the imagination drew the inhabitants of this ancient city, I can not even believe that such magnificent buildings have survived to this day, even the amphitheater has been preserved, I recommend everyone to visit

A cool historical place. There are many good locations for cool photos and selfies. I recommend visiting early in the morning or after 16:00, otherwise the scorching sun will spoil the whole impression. The only negative price in 2024 is $ 45 per person. Very expensive for this place.

Come on, don't be stingy, buy a painting! Were. We paid 20 euros per person. We took a lot of cool photos. We admired the ruins. I liked it! I don't see any point in going a second time! There is a souvenir shop nearby. The prices and quality are average. If you go in the summer, then you must have water with you! While the four of us were walking, we drank two 1.5 bottles.

It's nice to take a walk, but the entrance fees are amazing! There's not much to see, well, the necropolis, well, the amphitheater, great, but why spend so much money for admission. I had to lie that the child was 7 years old in order to save a little on this, and I think it's expensive.

We had a Demre-Mira-Kekova tour from Ginza-tur. The guide Dovut told a very interesting story. It was the first time I saw the amphitheater and it amazed me with its power, grandeur and beauty. How much work and effort has been put into it. If you are in Turkey, be sure to visit this place.

Of their old, only the theater with excellent acoustics has been preserved here. When a mullah reads a prayer in a village, everything is very clearly heard there without an echo. The necropolis was also preserved, that's all. But it is very close to the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. So it's three in one. Admission was 15 euros per person.

An entrance ticket with a price tag that I don't understand, I wonder why. Everything is beautiful. The guides have scant information, interpreted in their own way. I would like to be more informative and reliable.

You should not go to the Mirlikian tombs separately (unless, of course, you are a professional historian or researcher). The place is interesting, breathing a centuries-old history. Be sure to take a guide! It's clearer and more interesting this way. Usually, travel agencies offer visits to the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and Kekovo (sunken city) with this place. It is obligatory to visit the Church of Nicholas! And if for the first time, then also with a guide. But the Cupcake is at your discretion. Nothing is visible through the transparent bottom of the boat, and you can swim from the boat yourself, separately (if you want)

The Turkish city of the World is an ancient place with a difficult fate. According to one version, the town owes its name to the resin (myrrh) from which incense is produced, according to another version, the name of the town comes from the Etruscan word "Maura", which means "place of the mother goddess". The town was repeatedly destroyed, but then it was built again. Modern Demre is the center of Turkish pilgrimage for many Orthodox tourists. This is the city where St. Nicholas the Wonderworker lived and preached, which, by the way, is not by chance one of the symbols of this city. It is located near the modern city of Demre, one hundred and forty kilometers from Antalya and one hundred kilometers from Kemer.

I really enjoyed the tour to this ancient city. Such ancient structures that have been preserved in an amazing way to the present day are impressive! We saw the ancient Lycian cemetery at a high altitude, it's amazing how they were buried there, and the amphitheater assembled from huge stones, how it was built is not clear, without having equipment like now.
