The Turkish city of the World is an ancient place with a difficult fate. According to one version, the town owes its name to the resin (myrrh) from which incense is produced, according to another version, the name of the town comes from the Etruscan word "Maura", which means "place of the mother goddess".

The amphitheater is impressive, and so is the amount of garbage. We spent a maximum of 20 minutes there, the entrance is 170 lira, very expensive. It's a shame that people behave like this in such an ancient structure and it's a shame that they don't even clean it for such money.
